Sources: Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher engaged to marry

It hasn't been confirmed yet by either party or their team, but -- unofficially -- it appears that Ashton Kutcher's and Mila Kunis' time together on "That 70's Show" was time well spent. Both E and Us Weekly reported on Thursday night that the couple, dating since April of 2012 (more or less, since they did not go public immediately), are now engaged.

Hints of the engagement were shown when Kunis was seen shopping with her mother at The Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday. Kunis wore a baggy white sweater, jeans, sunglasses, but more importantly a noticeably-sized ring on her engagement finger.

A source told Us Weekly that the two are engaged. Another source confirmed the same to E.

When the couple went public with their romance, in November of 2012 Kurtwood Smith, who played Red on "That 70's Show," said:
It's amazing. They're both great people, so I'm happy for them. Maybe they should get married. We'll all go to the wedding and that could be the reunion. It'll be a reality show.
Considering that there have been a number of reality TV shows about the wedding of such-and-such a faux reality star, why not? There could be quite a reality TV audience for "Mila Marries Ashton."

This would be the second marriage for Kutcher, 36. He was previously wed to Demi Moore, 51. Kunis has not been married before.

New Justin Bieber Miami arrest videos show stumbling, yet push-up ready superstar

Justin Bieber's team blocked certain parts of video of the singer, which was taken after his arrest in Miami on Jan. 23 on DUI and drag racing charges, 10 hours of video was released by authorities on Wednesday. In part of the video, Bieber is seen fumbling his way through a sobriety test, the New York Daily News reported.

The part of the video that Bieber's team wanted blocked showed the singer urinating in a cup for a drug test, reportedly showing his genitals. The part that was released, though, might be far more damaging to his reputation.

The 19-year-old Canadian superstar faces charges of resisting arrest, DUI and driving with an expired license. He also faces a lot of public furor from non-fans, who have gone to lengths to create petitions asking for his deportation.

A drug test found traces of marijuana and Xanax, an antidepressant, in his system. However, despite a police report saying he reeked of alcohol, Bieber only tested for a miniscule 0.014 BAC. The embedded video shows the stumbling portion. While police apparently think this is their best evidence, it is unclear that it is "that bad."

Certainly, they should be able to convict Bieber on the expired license charge, one would think, as that would seem to be incontrovertible.

In the second of the two videos below, Bieber is shown exercising his -- well, body. He is shown doing 23.5 push-ups in 28 seconds. It is unclear what sort of statement he was trying to make.

'Breaking Bad' fan arrested for running meth lab

Oh, the hilarity -- and people ask if TV influences the behavior of viewers. Really, this is all banter, but it's interesting to examine the arrest of one Daniel Kowalski, 21, as on Wednesday the Chicago Tribune reported that a meth lab bust at a home near LaGrange, Ill. showed that Kowalski was a fan of the TV show, "Breaking Bad."

Kowalski, who already on electronic monitoring for running a meth lab last summer, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials and possession of materials needed to produce methamphetamine. All those were felony counts, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Department.

Last July, Kowalski was placed on electronic monitoring after sheriff’s police found a suspected methamphetamine lab at his home and arrested him. Not only that, was ordered to home confinement after his arrest, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Sophia Ansari.

Kowalski was, apparently, making good use of his time.

The ironic aspect of the case is that, when arrested, Kowalski was wearing T-shirt bearing the words "Los Pollos Hermanos," which is the name of a restaurant founded by meth dealer Gustavo Fring in the TV series “Breaking Bad." It was fairly (fictionally) successful: Founded by Gustavo Fring and Max Arciniega, the restaurant chain had fourteen locations throughout the southwest and was Gustavo Fring's major business concern.

Ansari added of Kowalski: “He obviously knows something about the show."

Sheriff Tom Dart later sent out a tweet saying, "For those asking, Daniel Kowalski was actually wearing a @Los_Pollos_ABQ shirt at the time of arrest."

Justin Bieber driver, guard arrested for theft

Justin Bieber has only been "staying in" Atlanta for a short time, and already there is negative press revolving around him. TMZ reported that one of Bieber's security guards and a driver were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of the theft of a photographer's camera in Sandy Springs, Ga.

Reportedly, on Tuesday afternoon, Bieber rented out a local amusement park. While he was inside, according to law enforcement sources, one of his security team members went outside to Bieber's Cadillac Escalade. The guard told waiting paparazzi that Bieber was about to come out, but after that, got into a dispute with one of the photographers. According to the report, he took the photographer's camera and gave it to the driver.

The guard then hopped into the Escalade, and left.

Later, police found the Escalade and the two men at the home that Bieber is renting from Dallas Austin (remember that?). They located the camera inside the vehicle, and arrested the two men, since identified as 32-year-old Hugo Hesny, the guard, and 49-year-old Terrance Johnson, the driver, for felony theft. The photographer valued the camera at approximately $10,000.

In addition to the camera, law enforcement sources said police removed two backpacks from the Escalade, but found no contraband.

Jason Collins the most popular NBA player by jersey sales

Jason Collins, who in late March of last year became the first active player in major U.S. pro sports to come out as gay, is on a short-term ten day contract with the Brooklyn Nets. Normally, that contact is so short that the NBA would not issue his jersey for sale. In this case, the NBA decided to, and on Tuesday, it became the top-seller on, NBA Senior Vice President Vicky Picca told CNN.

That makes Collins -- who came out as gay last year when he was still unemployed -- the NBA's most popular player, at least by jersey sales.

Collins remained unemployed until last week, when he signed the ten day contract. He was unsigned at the beginning of the current season. The Nets, though, are not required to continue to employ him past the ten days.

35, Collins has never been a superstar. Instead he's been a utility player, with time in New Jersey (for the now Brooklyn Nets), Memphis, Minnesota, Atlanta, Boston and Washington. He's not known as a scorer, but rather a defensive player, averaging 3.6 points per game over his 12-year career.

On Feb. 23, he played 11 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers. He scored zero points, had two rebounds, one steal, and five personal fouls. He also had two turnovers.

His no. 98 jersey is a symbol. He wears it to honor the memory of \Matthew Shepard, the gay University of Wyoming student who was beaten to death in 1998.

Campaign to keep Justin Bieber out of Atlanta's exclusive Buckhead community revealed to be a hoax

A Facebook protest page that was seemingly set up to organize against any attempt by pop superstar Justin Bieber to move into Atlanta's exclusive Buckhead community has been revealed to be part of an elaborate hoax. CNN, admittedly among the media snookered by the Regular Guys radio show, reported the prank on Monday.

"Regular Guys" host Larry Wachs admitted, after the faux protest took place on Monday in front of an on-the-market mansion,
The Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition is an organization put together by "the Regular Guys Show."
Harold White, the face of the fictitious protest, was actually "Regular Guys" co-host Tim Andrews. He did interviews with CNN, the BBC and a number of other news outlets. Wachs claimed, on-air, that the show had 33 international media outlets, including TMZ, generate 45,000 plus news stories."

In his interview with CNN, White (Andrews) claimed to be a long-time resident of the community and a retiree. He said:
We're concerned he'll bring the wrong type of element into a quiet, residential area. It is our position that a person with his means could certainly find a neighborhood more suited to his eclectic lifestyle.
Strangely, it appears many of the comments on the Facebook page were anti-Bieber -- until the hoax was revealed. They then turned into supportive posts for Bieber.

Examples of the pre-reveal posts are:

Dianne Spencer Cooper: Good for Buckhead community....JB is a cancer to our children....he needs to be deported.

Ron N Denise: Buckhead welcomes well established residents. They don't want a little thug that will be pulling stunts to keep his name in the news

After the page and "campaign" were revealed as a hoax, the tone changed. Examples:

Kathy Bobby Garrett: instead of trying to be a good influnce on this young man you Bully him??.

Sparkle Lee: Wait... you dont want Bieber in the neighborhood but these fat degenerates are ok? Im confused.

Bieber himself appeared suckered into the hoax. On Twitter, he wrote:
I guess I'm an easy target for some. I'm still human. I will continue to meet hate with love. It's all about the music. Much love.

Justin Bieber Miami DUI case seems set to go to trial: Sources

No plea bargain: Justin Bieber will go to trial in his Miami DUI case, TMZ reported early on Tuesday morning.

Sources connected with the case say that Bieber and prosecutors have not been able to come to agreement on a plea deal. With that, although it's not 100 percent, those sources say a trial is now nearly certain.

As we reported earlier, the hang up on the no-contest plea deal appears to be the mandatory random drug testing that Bieber would have to allow, for six to nine months. According to earlier and current reports, Bieber won't accept a deal that includes probationary terms, especially drug testing.

Law enforcement sources, however, say that no deal will take place if Bieber does not agree to the random drug testing.

Bieber could be confident: Law enforcement sources agree that there are issues with the case, including the report saying that Bieber smelled of alcohol when he blew a miniscule 0.014, and the claim that Bieber was drag racing when GPS records show he was going only 27 MPH.

Despite this, prosecutors are not backing down. On the other side of things, Bieber's lawyer, Roy Black, is ready for a protracted courtroom battle.

Bieber could be tried on three charges: DUI, resisting arrest, and driving with an expired license. The expired license would seem pretty cut and dried, but wouldn't require much "punishment," per se. The worst case scenario would be that Bieber could spend up to 2 1/2 years behind bars.

'American Idol's' sagging ratings lead to season 13 red ink: Sources

It's come to this: "American Idol's" dropping ratings and other factors will lead to the show losing money this season. The news came from sources speaking to TMZ in an early Monday report.

Ratings are down about 26 percent from last season. While the number of commercials won't drop -- it is network TV, after all -- the amount of money a company is willing to pay per ad certainly will drop. That means less advertising revenue and, although some of the lost funds can be deferred until next season, not all can.

In addition, as with many companies, manpower is dragging down "Idol," too. Jennifer Lopez reportedly receives over $15 million, and so does Ryan Seacrest (despite his outside company which has created a poorly received iPhone keyboard). This year's new set cost between $5 and $7 million, while the show is still paying the two executive producers they fired after last season (Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick).

Another cost to the show, sources said, is the amount spent on viewer phone calls. That costs the show at least $5 million.

Does that mean the show is going away? Not yet, or at least not after this season. Sources said it return, with at least part of the reasoning behind that being the "X Factor" cancellation, which if combined with an "Idol" cancellation would mean too many holes in Fox's primetime schedule.

With that, one has to wonder what will happen next season, if things continue as they are now.

Justin Bieber to reject MIami plea bargain deal over random drug testing requirement

Justin Bieber will reject a plea bargain he has been offered in his Miami DUI case, TMZ reported early on Sunday. The proposed deal had been leaked, though not publicly announced, also by TMZ 24 hours earlier.

The deal that had been offered to Bieber said the following:

Prosecutors would drop the DUI and resisting arrest charges, but in return Bieber would have had to:
  • Plead no contest to reckless driving
  • Complete 40 hours of community service
  • Attend an alcohol education course
  • Attend a "victim impact panel" (where relatives of DUI victims share their stories)
  • Install an ignition interlock device for three months
  • Random drug testing
Guess which of those requirements did not set well with Bieber?  You guessed it, the random drug testing.

To be clear, he also has an issue with the alcohol education class. Sources say he fears becoming a spectacle. What is clear from the reaction to his arrests is that any public education class would be mobbed by fans.

Finally, he is also against any deal that includes probation, though we have trouble seeing how any would not.

Bieber and his camp feel they have a good case against the prosecutors. As noted by many sites, there are a number of issues with the case. For one, they believe the police report had what TMZ said were lies.

As an example, it said Bieber reeked of alcohol while he blew only a 0.014 -- not a 0.14; read carefully. The drag race portion of the report has been disputed by GPS records showing 27 MPH during the "race."

Sources connected to Bieber tell TMZ ... there are several reasons they aren't buying what prosecutors are selling. First, there are huge problems with the case -- they believe the cop lied when he said Bieber reeked of booze (he only blew a .014), and he was also lying about observing Bieber drag race -- the GPS device registered a very reasonable 27 MPH.

It is said, however, that Bieber is open to a deal, just not this deal.

'Sharknado 2' feeding frenzy begins filming

The second feeding frenzy has begun. On Wednesday, "Sharknado 2" began filming, The Daily Mail reported.

Despite being a Syfy film -- not the best pedigree -- the first film, "Sharknado," was so successful, especially on social media, that a second film was quickly green-lit. The original starred Ian Ziering ("Beverly Hills 90210") and Tara Reid; the sequel does, too.

The original film was "based" in Los Angeles. On IMDB, it is described as follows:
When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, nature's deadliest killer rules sea, land, and air as thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace.
This time, the feeding frenzy takes place in New York City. The full title is "Sharknado 2: The Second One." It's described as follows:
The gang gets back together again to fight the skarknado.. - again.
We expect the description to be fleshed out later (no pun intended).

"Sharknado" has a 3.4 rating at IMDB and a 36 percent rating at Rotten Tomatoes, though critics rated it at 82 percent. It was so bad, it was good.

It was so bad, it became viral, too, with even Mia Farrow tweeting:
Omg omg OMG #sharknado
Some behind the scenes footage is embedded.

Justin Bieber isn't renting my spaceship home: Dallas Austin

Justin Bieber has been rumored to be eyeing a permanent move to Atlanta, Ga., and this could be a first step to seeing if he likes the area. TMZ reported late Wednesday night that the pop superstar has rented the four-bedroom spaceship-styled home of record producer Dallas Austin.

We're assuming that Austin has good insurance on his property.

However, while reports are that Bieber is renting Austin's "spaceship home," Austin doesn't agree. On Twitter, he confirmed a few things:
Ok people have to realize I've known @justinbieber way before he ever made it!! and that house has always been his Atlanta home!

Oh yeah it's not my old Atlanta spaceship home I still live there!! @justinbieber is a house guest relax!!
Austin is a songwriter, record producer, and musician. Some of his most notable clients are or were Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Carly Rae Jepsen, Boyz II Men, TLC (at one time he dated Chilli), Pink, Monica, Gwen Stefani, Deion Sanders, Stacie Orrico, Another Bad Creation, Fishbone, Sugababes, Girls Aloud, Anastacia, Namie Amuro, Kim Zolciak ("The Real Housewives of Atlanta," McFly, and Lady Gaga.

Bieber has reportedly been hunting for a mansion in Atlanta's exclusive Buckhead neighborhood (where Usher currently lives). So far, Bieber has not found a new mansion to inhabit. Reportedly, he's moving from his current Calabasas mansion with the plan of record being splitting time between Atlanta and Los Angeles with a mansion in each city.

Barbara Walters offered chance to roll in the (Dil) dough, after vibrator admission

Barbara Walters stunned some this week on "The View," when she said that at the age of 84, she still uses a vibrator. Never at a loss for a PR chance, a company called Phallix contacted her for a possible endorsement deal, TMZ reported on Thursday.

The possibility of a deal being struck is, of course, nil. However, the fact that the company made the offer is making news, and thus free marketing for Phallix.

Phallix sent the letter, available here, to ABC's New York City offices. Tongue firmly planted in -- cheek, you folks with your minds in the gutter -- Phallix said, in part:
... we'd love to enter into a deeper (obvious LOL) discussion with you about our already developed line of wands with the needs of our over 60 clientele's slower speed in mind. Our most successful wand has been magically flying off the shelves this week due to your revelation is our "Dichroic wrapped" massage wand.
According to Phallix, the material used in their product is dichroic glass, which resulted from materials research done by NASA and NASA contractors, not for use in vibrators, but for dichroic filters.

Not only will Walters pass because a) she doesn't need the money, b) do you really think she would endorse something like that, she has also backpedaled on the vibrator story. On Wednesday's "The View," she said it was all a joke.
I don't have a vibrator! I don't even put my cellphone on vibrate! Can I say it again? I do not have a vibrator!
Video of Walters exposure of "Selfie," her fictional vibrator, is embedded.

Even Satanists back away from alleged serial killer Miranda Barbour

Even Satanists want nothing to do with the so-called (and latest) "Craigslist Killer," Miranda Barbour, the Huffington Post reported on Wednesday. The 19-year-old, who told the Daily Item in a jailhouse interview that she and her newlywed husband killed Troy LeFerrara in November after meeting him on Craiglist, adding that she has killed at least 22 other people across the country, claimed to have done so as part of a Satanic cult. Satanists, though, say she is lying.

By that, the Church of Satan is saying she's lying about being a Satanist, not necessarily about her murders in general. On the other hand, the public seems equally divided -- at least at a HollywoodLife poll -- 50 percent of people think the so-called (and latest) "Craigslist Killer" is a serial killer, and 50 percent do not.

Magus Peter Gilmore, head priest of the Church of Satan, said:
According to our records, we have never had any contact from this woman, nor her accomplice. It seems to me that she is calling herself a member of a "satanic cult," not a legally incorporated above-ground form of satanism. Thorough investigation will likely demonstrate that this cult story is fiction.
The Church of Satan is not the only such religious body in the U.S. It is, however, the largest and oldest. It was founded in 1966 by Anton LaVey.

Lucien Greaves, spokesman for the rival Satanic Temple, also said his group has no ties to Barbour or her husband:
Barbour seems bent on displaying herself as prolific murderer and absolute monster, and her "Satanism" seems nothing more than another transparent effort to aid in this campaign of reverse," public relations,

It must be remembered that 'the Devil made me do it' excuse far predates any written doctrine of Satanism, and I feel certain that Barbour's own relationship with any organized Satanism will turn out to be vague or non-existent.
Miranda Barbour and her husband, Elytte, 22, are accused of killing 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara, who police say responded to an ad for “companionship” the couple on Craigslist. While Elytte Barbour strangled his

Elytte allegedly strangled LaFerrara in the front seat of his wife’s red Honda CR-V, while she stabbed him at least 20 times in November 2013.

Sir Patrick Stewart responds humorously to Guardian 'coming out' FUBAR

No, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard is not gay. While George Takei (Sulu of "Star Trek: TOS") might lament that fact, The Guardian had to admit to misidentifying "Next Generation" and "X-Men" actor Sir Patrick Stewart, on Monday, as gay.  Stewart, though, issued a humorous Tuesday tweet in response to his "coming out."

The initial FUBAR was a reference to those supporting actress Ellen Page, who just came out herself. In its article on Page, The Guardian referenced Stewart, as it says below:
This article was amended on 17 February 2014. The third paragraph originally said "Some gay people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy." This should have read "Some people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy."
After the Poynter Institute tweeted about the gaffe, Stewart tweeted a response.
.@Poynter But @guardian I have, like, five or even SEVEN hetero friends and we totally drink beer and eat lots of chicken wings!
In response to a suggestion that The Guardian might have erred due to Stewart's friendships (e.g., he is a close friend of Sir Ian McKellan, who is openly gay), Stewart tweeted:
MT “@Gruaig_Rua: @Poynter Silly @guardian. You can't catch gay by hanging out with #LGBT people."
The Poynter Institute is a non-profit school for journalism located in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Institute may have been thinking The Guardian's reporters needed a refresher.

In one final tweet, Stewart acknowledged the erroneous news as a good change of pace.
Well, @guardian it makes for a nice least I didn't wake up to the internet telling me I was dead again.

George Zimmerman flees Miami after being told he has a bounty on his head

George Zimmerman fled Miami after being told there was a $10,000 bounty on his head, TMZ reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, George Zimmerman taped an interview last Tuesday with Univision and Fusion, and then took his girlfriend, her child and his brother to the beach. He's now a public figure, and people noticed him sunbathing with the others. They began harassing him, with someone then shouting that Zimmerman had a $10,000 bounty on his head.

While naturally there's no verification to that statement, Zimmerman was apparently frightened by it, and the group retreated to their hotel. There was no escaping the crowd, though, as they apparently followed.

Zimmerman had his room swept by security; security went so far as to stand guard throughout the day and night. Once his interview with CNN was done, he reportedly fled Miami. His interview with CNN was aired on Monday, and had in fact been moved up from Tuesday, perhaps in response to Michael Dunn's verdicts.

In his CNN interview, Zimmerman portrayed himself, not Trayvon Martin, who he fatally shot nearly two years ago, as the victim. Zimmerman was acquitted on murder charges about seven months ago.
I certainly was a victim when I was having my head bashed into the concrete and my nose broken and beaten. So I wouldn’t say I was not a victim.
There are many who still doubt Zimmerman's version of the events, despite his acquittal. Zimmerman, though, isn't worried about those people judging him. His only real judge, he said, was God.
I know He’s the only judge I have to answer to. He knows what happened and I know what happened.
Zimmerman has had a number of run-ins with the law since his acquittal. Not only has he been pulled over for speeding, his wife called the police saying that he was threatening her with a gun, and his new girlfriend also claimed that he threatened her, though with a shotgun.

Considering the information about the "beach party" above, it is obviously that the couple has since reconciled.

A celebrity boxing match with rapper DMX seemed to be on the horizon, but the promoter eventually cancelled it, citing his conscience. Speaking of the boxing match, which some saw as strange since Zimmerman had claimed to be unable to fight off a teenager who was nearly 30 pounds lighter than him, Zimmerman said:
I saw it as an opportunity. I never expected it to turn out the way it did.

Drake apologizes for rant about losing Rolling Stone cover to Philip Seymour Hoffman

Perhaps realizing he was coming across as a) a major cry-baby, b) selfish, c) an a**hole, Drake apologized (on his website, no less) on Friday for his Thursday tweets that said he was angry that Rolling Stone had taken him off its cover this week. The reason, though, was why his tweets gave readers the above impression: They replaced Drake with Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Considering Hoffman's recent death, complaints seemed just a bit over the top.

Drake said, in part:
I completely support and agree with Rolling Stone replacing me on the cover with the legendary Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He is one of the most incredible actors of our time and a man that deserves to be immortalized by this publication. My frustration stemmed from the way it was executed.
The next sentence, though, took back some of the good will he was trying to salvage. He said:
The circumstances at hand are completely justifiable (on the magazines behalf), but I was not able to salvage my story or my photos and that was devastating. They ran the issue without giving me a choice to be in it or not. I would have waited until it was my time because I understand the magnitude of the cover they chose but I just wasn't given that option and that made me feel violated. I apologize to anybody who took my initial comments out of context because in no way would I ever want to offend the Hoffman family or see myself as bigger than that moment.
In other words, yes Hoffman's death is bigger than an interview with me, but come on guys; can't you save my cover spot for another time?

Drake has deleted the offending tweets.

Judge to review Justin Bieber Miami Beach police videos before any more are released

The release last week of some police video showing Justin Bieber being patted down in jail following his DUI arrest in Miami Beach has Bieber's camp running scared. Reportedly, additional footage could show the pop superstar urinating in his cell, which would be bad enough, but his junk is on display, as well. However, to ensure the privacy of Bieber's privates, a judge will examine any footage before its release, TMZ reported on Friday.

The previously released footage already paints a negative image of Bieber. After all, his behavior has been called "strutting," as though he is "too good' to be in jail. The additional video wouldn't be any more flattering than the first.

However, new court documents say that any additional jail footage will be reviewed by prosecutors and a judge before being released to the public.

The sequence that most concerns the Bieber camp was described as follows by a source who has viewed it:
Justin is seen several times stumbling around while he was taking his tests. As if he had a problem with his balance ... [the video] also shows Justin taking his various tests and eventually taking a piss.

The stumbling and going to the bathroom is obviously reason enough for his attorneys to request it be sealed ... If I was trying to paint a picture that my client was innocent ... I wouldn’t want a video of him stumbling around and looking out of it to go public either.
This wouldn't be the first video showing Bieber urinating to be made public. In July of last year, video showing Bieber urinating in a mop bucket and dissing Bill Clinton emerged.

The embedded video shows the earlier frisking sequence.

New payday for the Kardashian clan, but Bruce won't be returning

Bruce Jenner will no longer be "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," and that means he will miss out on a huge payday, TMZ reported on Thursday.

Although the hit reality TV show is about to picked up for another multi-year package, Jenner won't be coming along for the ride. Currently, Jenner only reluctantly takes part in the show, and only when it's absolutely necessary. In fact, whenever it is possible he'll shoot his scenes in Malibu, where he now lives.

Meanwhile, the payday that Jenner will miss out on will be huge. "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was renewed for an additional three seasons back in 2012 for over $40 million or what was then the richest reality TV show deal ever.

While the figures aren't yet known, sources connected to the shows production say that the Kardashian clan has outdone itself. The new deal will be worth more than the earlier deal, though how much more is still a question.

Also a question: It is unclear if a new deal has been signed or if it is still being negotiated. Either way, though, the discussions are far enough along that everyone knows the show will be return.

Steve-O and friends fake seizures, but 911 'prank' can't be prosecuted

Former "Jackass" star Steve-O and three friends faked simultaneous seizures at a West Hollywood coffee shop on Tuesday. The incident prompted other customers to call 911; TMZ obtained the embedded video and posted it on Thursday.

As you might expect, authorities are not pleased about the incident, as the 911 call prompted police and paramedics to rush to the scene. However, law enforcement sources say that Steve-O and his cohorts are outside the reach of the long arm of the law.

The reason is that the 911 calls, though about a faux incident, were not in and of themselves false reports. The people who made the calls did so believing it was an actual emergency. Steve-O and friends were not the callers, and thus cannot be prosecuted.

Capt. Jamie Moore, public information officer for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said he will contact Steve-O, his lawyer and his publicist to let them know that not only was the prank dumb, it threatened lives. Not only could the ambulance or fire truck have gotten into an accident, the fake call could have delayed a response to an actual emergency.

Capt. Moore said the obvious:
The L.A. Fire Dept. frowns on his (Steve-O's) action that impacted public safety.
Steve-O, 39, was born Stephen Gilchrist Glover on June 13, 1974. He is a British-American-Canadian stunt performer, comedian, and TV personality and is mostly known for performance stunts on the American TV series Jackass and related movies.

Barbie appearance in 50th anniversary SI Swimsuit Issue causes an online ruckus

Barbie has been criticized -- or at least Mattel has -- for promoting an unrealistic image for young women. That being said, what do young men think of her? We'll soon find out, as although the cover model for the 50th anniversary issue oc the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is still secret, it's been revealed, via Creativity on Tuesday, that Barbie will make an appearance in its pages.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue hits newsstands on Feb. 18, next week.

A Mattel spokeswoman said:
Barbie is a legend in her own right, with more than 150 careers and a brand valued at $3 billion. She is in great company with the other legends such as Heidi Klum and Christie Brinkley, to name a few.

As a legend herself, and under criticism about her body and how she looks, posing in "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit" gives Barbie and her fellow legends an opportunity to own who they are, celebrate what they have done, and be unapologetic.
Swimsuit Editor M. J. Day said in a statement that the Barbie appearance was -- rather than being negative -- a positive for women:
From its earliest days, Swimsuit has delivered a message of empowerment, strength and beauty, and we are delighted that Barbie is celebrating those core values in such a unique manner.
After news of the Barbie appearance became public, social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook saw quite a few negative posts about her selection.   A post on the Mommyish blog, for example, sported the headline “The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Will Feature Barbie, So Your Daughter Can Feel Bad Too.”

The unrealistic image Barbie is said to promote can be seen by extrapolating her measurements. Wikipedia says that a standard Barbie doll would be 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a bust of 36 inches, a waist of 18 inches, 33-inch hips. Researchers at the University Central Hospital in Helsinki, Finland, said Barbie would lack the 17 - 22 percent body fat required for a woman to menstruate.

In case you are wondering, Mattel paid for the opportunity to put Barbie into the 50th anniversary commemoration of the SI Swimsuit Issue. Financial details were not forthcoming.

The campaign will include a four-page advertising feature in the issue. Walter Iooss Jr., who has been shooting the magazine’s swimsuit models for four decades, shot the feature, too. There will be video clips, a cover wrap that will appear on 1,000 copies of the issue, confirming Barbie as “The Doll That Started It All,” a limited-edition Sports Illustrated Barbie, to be sold exclusively at; and a beach-themed party on Monday night in Lower Manhattan.

Najafi Media invests $75 million into Paula Deen's brand

To us, it almost sounds like an investor deciding to push cash into a startup. Paula Deen, who saw her career turn to ashes after revelations of her use of the n-word emerged, could see her fortunes rise like a phoenix, Najafi Media -- the company involved -- reported on Wednesday.

Najafi Media is a Phoenix-based $2 billion content and consumer distribution company. A subsidary of Najafi Companies, it has partnered with Deen and her company, Paula Deen Ventures (PDV), and given it a $75 million infusion in case. PDV, by the way, includes Paula Deen Foods, Paula Deen Media, Paula Deen Restaurants, Paula Deen Cookware and Paula Deen Home.

Interestingly enough, Deen isn't CEO of the new venture. Instead, Najafi Media has appointed a retail industry veteran, Steven Nanula, as Chief Executive Officer.

Jahm Najafi, founder and CEO of Najafi Companies said:All of us at Najafi Companies have a deep respect for the hard work, unique content and quality products which Paula has built around her brand. We know that the enterprise will be successful and valuable, as Paula and her team continue to bring quality products and experiences to her loyal fan base; and now we have a proven management team in place to build and lead the organization.

Meanwhile, Deen said:
I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Jahm Najafi, with his track record of success. Jahm’s vision, attention to detail and entrepreneurial spirit will help us grow to new heights. Jahm and Steve are both so well respected as leaders. I know this is the right decision to lead my team, as we continue to share quality products with my fans – whose love and support have built my brands.
Will we see Deen on the back of airline seas? Could be; in 2012 Najafi bought SkyMall magazine.

As interesting fodder for rumor, in addition to SkyMall, Najafi owns the Book of the Month Club and Columbia House.

Suge Knight slugs pot dispensary employee (video)

A surveillance video seems to back up an employee at a Los Angeles medical marijuana dispensary known as Medstar Collective. He said that Suge Knight, founder and CEO of Black Kapital Records and co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records, threatened to kill him, and later slugged him. TMZ posted the video (embedded) on Wednesday.

The incident took place on Sunday. Sources close to Knight said this is all a misunderstanding over his payday. Apparently Knight believed he was going to be paid in both cash and pot for a promotional appearance.

Meanwhile, law enforcement sources say that Knight told an employee, "I will kill you."

The surveillance video -- which is already in the hands of the police -- shows video from different cameras. The first camera's view shows Knight calm at first, then arguing angrily with someone. Later, a view from an outside camera shows Knight hitting a man in the jaw without warning ... then leaving angrily after the sucker punch.

Reportedly, Knight is being investigated for making felony criminal threats; it's unclear if there are any additional charges being considering for the actual battery of the employee.

Watch as Khloe Kardashian shows off her twerking talents on The Game

Khloe Kardashian, still in the midst of her divorce from Lamar Odom, co-hosted the private event "Dream at Tru" on Monday night, along with close friend The Game. She did more than that, though, as she showed off twerking moves that screamed "I'm single and ready to mingle," according to TMZ.

The video below shows Khloe K. twerking her *ss off, with The Game's genitals.

While the couple has been seen hanging out over the last few months, they have always denied that there was anything more than just friendship between them. Of course, we've heard that before, haven't we?

They were chaperoned though. Accompanying them was the family's matriarch, Kris Jenner, and Kourtney K.'s own Scott Disick.

Khloe Kardashian filed court documents to divorce Lamar Odom in mid-December of last year. The two had a four-year marriage together. The couple had a pre-nup so the divorce will be simple.

Odom, a 6-foot-10-inch power forward, has been out of the NBA since going unsigned as a free agent after last year's disappointing performance. He last played for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2012-13 season, averaging a career-low 4.0 points and 5.9 rebounds.

Justin Bieber's O-1 visa status threatened by legal issues: Report

Despite a petition asking for it, Justin Bieber can't be deported for any of the crimes he is currently charged with, U.S. law says. However, TMZ's legal team found there's another way for Bieber to be ousted from the country, and reported on it on Tuesday.

Bieber -- a Canadian citizen -- is allowed to stay in the U.S. because he has what's called an O-1 visa. There are several types of O visas, and even two types of O-1 visas, but Wikipedia says:
An O visa is a classification of non-immigrant temporary worker visa granted by the United States to an alien "who possesses extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, or who has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements," and to certain assistants and immediate family members of such aliens.
In other words, he's a celebrity, so he gets O-1 status.

Bieber's visa must be renewed in two years. Here's the key: According to TMZ (and Wikipedia), immigration law state that if someone is convicted of a crime of "moral turpitude," the department can deem that person "inadmissible" for work status in the United States.

According to the site, if a crime involves moral turpitude, it doesn't matter if it is a misdemeanor or a felony. Notably, a controlled substance violation qualifies.

Moral turpitude is still a vague term, though. TMZ says it includes crimes involving "malicious destruction of property." Wikipedia doesn't define it that way, though.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. has recommended that the District Attorney file felony vandalism charges against Bieber in his egging case, because the estimated damages are $20,000. The Sheriff's Dept., as well, believes that Bieber was malicious in his intent.

While all conjecture, this could qualify as a "moral turpitude" violation. However, one can only imagine the amount of lobbying from the music industry to avoid that, even if it were the case. It would appear that would be a doubtful denouement.

Additionally, the D.A. has not decided whether or not to file. It is expected that decision will be made later this week.

'I'm not Laurence Fishburne': Samuel L. Jackson goes off on news anchor

Samuel L. Jackson is known as the most eloquent of those who might say certain four-letter words, and thus a Los Angeles news anchor should count his blessings, as despite Jackson going off on him on Monday, he managed to keep it all clean. The embedded video is from KTLA via TMZ.

Jackson was appearing on KTLA on Monday bto promote his new movie, "Robocop." Before getting into the heart of the matter, entertainment anchor Sam Rubin decided to ask Jackson about his new Super Bowl commercial.

Unfortunately for Rubin, Jackson had no Super Bowl ad. Instead, Rubin was thinking about Laurence Fishburne's Super Bowl commercial. And that is when Jackson went off on Rubin.

“What Super Bowl commercial?” Jackson asked.

It was hilarious, as Rubin kept trying to redirect things to the movie, while at the same time apologizing. Jackson, however, wouldn't let him, as he continued to say "I'm not that (black) guy, or that (black) guy, and on and on."

“You’re as crazy as the people on Twitter, I’m not Laurence Fishburne. We all look alike? We’re all black and famous.”

“You don’t know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne?”

“Really? Really? I’m the other guy. There’s more than one black guy doing a commercial.”

Watch it.

Honey Boo Boo's sister Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Shannon rushed to ER: Report

Honey Boo Boo's sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 13, has been rushed to the emergency room on Sunday, according to a TMZ report. The ER trip appears to be related to complications stemming from last month's car accident.

Sources told the celebrity website that Pumpkin is continue to suffer issues in the wake of the Jan. 6 car accident. Reportedly, Pumpkin has been suffering from bad headaches, neck pain, and nausea. These all point to head trauma, but it has been over a month since the accident.

A representative for TLC, which broadcasts the reality TV show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," said that Pumpkin was admitted to the hospital for a round of extensive testing.

While originally the question of fault was in the air, police later determined that Mike Thompson was at fault. "Sugar Bear" apparently made an unsafe left turn in front of a truck before the collision.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," for those unaware, is the controversial reality TV show about a self-proclaimed "redneck" family and their daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. Alana first appeared on the series "Toddlers and Tiaras."

The show is mostly filmed in and around the family's hometown in rural McIntyre, Georgia, United States, a town in Middle Georgia east of Macon, and premiered on Aug. 8, 2012 for its first season.

Ironically, The Hollywood Reporter criticized the show and called it a "car crash." Wikipedia says:
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is a car crash, and everybody rubber-necks at a car crash, right? It's human nature. Yes, except that if you play that card, you also have to realize that human nature comes with the capacity to draw a line, to hold fast against the dehumanization and incremental tearing down of the social fabric, even if this never-ending onslaught of reality television suggests that's a losing effort.
The third season of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” premiered on Jan. 16.

Surveillance video shows Justin Bieber in vicinity of egg attack: Report

After earlier reports that indicated there was no surveillance video available in the Justin Bieber "egging case," it now appears that there may be footage after all. The TMZ report, issued early Monday, reported that law enforcement sources say that they only discovered surveillance video during their raid on Bieber's mansion, they have provided it to the District Attorney.

According to sources, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has recommended that felony vandalism charges be issued against Bieber. The reason they recommend a felony, notably, is that the damage is over $400, which is where the line is drawn.

There are two pieces of crucial evidence in the case, as well as eyewitness testimony. There is the aforementioned surveillance video discovered during the raid, and also the neighbor's video, publicized earlier.

In the case of the former, the video shows Justin Bieber "in the vicinity" of the area where the egging occurred -- at the time of the attack. That being said, you don't see him throwing eggs.

the video shows Bieber in the vicinity of the area where the egging occurred at the time of the attack. You don't actually see him throwing eggs, but he's there.

In the neighbor's video, you hear the voice of what sounds uncannily like Bieber verbally sparring with the neighbor. In this case, this is no visual of Bieber, but only audio. You can hear what sounds like Bieber shouting, "F*** you! I got another one for you actually."

The neighbor and his 13-year-old daughter are witnesses to the egging. The girl made a call to 911 which matches the time that Justin Bieber was seen in the surveillance video.

The question is if the D.A. will consider the evidence strong enough to charge Bieber at all. In addition, assuming the D.A. does, will the case be filed as a felony or a misdemeanor? The neighbor has submitted repair estimates totaling about $20,000. That might sound outrageous, but remember that these are expensive homes, and the area in question has very expensive Venetian plaster on it.

The D.A is expected to hand down a decision later this week.

Promoter cancels George ZImmerman / DMX celebrity boxing match

The George Zimmerman / DMX celebrity boxing match is off, before an agreement with DMX was even complete, based on the Twitter feed by the promoter, Damon Feldman. On Saturday, he tweeted that the fight was canceled as well as sentiments and apologies.

In a series of tweets, Feldman said:
Life is great there's more to life than just making money

Just looked at my son and daughter today wow I'm so lucky those people must be in so much pain

The George Zimmerman fight is canceled I'm sorry for anyone I hurt with this but this was a very big opportunity thank you

I want to thank everyone for the good n bad comments I've made the choice to cancel the fight w George Zimmermann more to life then money
Feldman noted he could have made millions, but he would rather be happy and make others happy. As he tweeted, people are still trying to convince him to reconsider he decision.

That is a turnaround from earlier messages to Feldman. Early in his feed, Feldman can be seen defending his decision to (then) hold the fight. In fact, he tweeted, if he didn't do it. someone else would -- which doesn't necessarily make it right, of course.
@MsMoneyMonroe if I didn't do this fight now someone else would
Will someone else pick up the pieces? It's quite possible. Quite a few are interested in seeing Zimmerman enter the ring, but only because they want the killer of Trayvon Martin to "get his."

If someone else decides to promote the fight, they still need to sign DMX to the match. Although he was selected as the likely opponent, he was still negotiating over money, at last report.

'Blame yourself' for addiction issues, Justin Bieber says to Selena Gomez

With ex-boyfriends like this -- why would you ever go back? The on-again / off-again relationship between Selena Gomez seems so off that it will never be one again. On Friday, TMZ reported that Justin Bieber is dissing his ex- to his friends, basically calling her a drunk.

Bieber is apparently doing so in response to media reports that said that Gomez blamed Bieber for being a bad influence, pressuring her into trying marijuana, for one. Gomez recently exited a rehab program called DAWN, though only 14 days into a 45-day program. Sources said combination of issues sent her to rehab, including marijuana, Ambien, and alcohol abuse.

Meanwhile, sources told the celebrity site that although Bieber acknowledges he gets wasted while partying, whenever he had partied with Gomez she was almost competitive (if it was to be a competition, that is). Bieber said she smoked as much pot as the men in his team, sometimes even more.

Sources also said that Gomez was a big fan of alcohol, as well.

Bieber is, the report continues, very happy that he is no longer with Gomez because -- get this -- she is just too high maintenance and out of control for him.

Some might wonder if  he's actually speaking about himself.

It seems clear that Gomez is addicted to one other thing: Justin Bieber. Breaking that habit might be harder than any other addiction.

Charlie Sheen 'threatens' to put Ashton Kutcher on a 'hospital food diet'

Charlie Sheen flip-flopped on Twitter Thursday, first apologizing to Ashton Kutcher, then threatening him (though possibly tongue-in-cheek). The tweets are atop Sheen's verified Twitter account, at the time of this writing.

It started with an apology. As most know, Kutcher replaced Sheen on the hit TV show "Two And A Half Men" in 2011 after Sheen's public meltdown. Since then, Sheen has been free with his negative comments regarding Kutcher and his acting skills on the show, such as the and Charlie has had some negative things to say about Ashton and his performance since then, such as asking Kutcher to "quit barfing on my old brilliant show".

When Kutcher appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this week, he "appealed" to Sheen to stop the jabs. He said:
Dude, shut the f**k up! Seriously, like, enough already. It's three years later and you're still blowing me up on Twitter? Come on, dude, really?
That statement can be seen in the embedded video.

Following that statement, Sheen apologized on Twitter, tweeting:
Ashton message received. so sorry u sounded like me! well done! my bad I was p****d at other c**p & took it out on you. hope u r good xox c
However, Sheen was not ready to let it sit there. He tweeted a follow-up message two hours later. He said:
But news flash Dood, you ever tell me to shut the F*** up, EVER again, and I'll put you on a hospital food diet for a year. c #YaFeelMe Jr?
It could be a tongue-in-cheek comment, or it could be serious, though with Sheen, who knows? Sheen starred on "Two and A Half Men" in seasons one through eight. He currently stars in "Anger Management."

'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' turns from filming to fisticuffs

Reality TV show "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" became all too real on Wednesday. As shown in the embedded video, via TMZ, the filming became less about film and more about fighting, as a free-for-all erupted.

Filming was taking place at the opening of a new restaurant. The video isn't via VH1 cameras, although it's been said that the network's cameras were rolling the whole time. Instead, it's cell phone video.

According to sources, sparks flew when star Joseline Hernandez (rapper and wife of Stevie J) walked in with a girlfriend. Several arguments ensued, reportedly instigated by the girlfriend. Eventually, fists were flying.

Most of the cast became involved in the fracas, with several receiving cuts and Karlie Redd (model, R&B singer/rapper, ex-girlfriend of Benzino) being knocked out. Someone threw a bottle at Momma Dee (Lil Scrappy's mom), but she was not seriously injured.

Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J can be seen in the middle of the melee in the early stages of video. Later, outside the restaurant, Momma Dee and Shay Johnson can be seen still fighting with each other.

Reportedly, no arrests were made and security guards eventually broke up the fight.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," Wikipedia says is the Atlanta-based spin-off of "Love & Hip Hop." The VH1 show premiered on June 18, 2012, and follows the lives of several women who are involved with hip hop. Season three will premiere in May 2014.

DMX to box George Zimmerman? Not quite yet

On Wednesday, multiple reports said that George Zimmerman -- he of the Trayvon Martin killing -- will face rapper DMX in a celebrity boxing event (such as this Time article). Not so fast, though.

Zimmerman told Radar Online last month that boxing was his hobby even prior to the “incident” (as he called the Trayvon Martin shooting / killing). He has apparently been training for months.

Damon Feldman, owner of Celebrity Boxing, said that DMX was chosen out of a final pool of 15,000 applicants. However, while the 43-year-old rapper told TMZ, “I am going to beat the living f**k out him (Zimmerman) ... I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up," it appears things are not as final as many believe.

DMX’s publicist Domenick Nati provided the following statement:
The boxing match between George Zimmerman and DMX is not officially confirmed. DMX has promised to “beat his ass”, but no contract or paperwork has been signed or agreed to yet. DMX will release an official statement if and when an agreement is made.
Among the failed applicants was Rapper The Game. He has a a tattoo of the late Trayvon Martin on his leg, and he was an "original" volunteer for the match. At the time, he told TMZ:
I will beat the f**k out of him. I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family.
However, Feldman turned him down, as apparently The Game was too interested in a big payday than in vengeance for Martin. "The Game wanted too much money,” Feldman told theGrio.

Justin Bieber labeled 'stupid' for 'pot plane' behavior: Report

Is Justin Bieber foolish, arrogant, or just plain stupid. TMZ concluded Bieber is behind door no. three on Wednesday, as the celebrity site outlined details of the pop superstar's recent "pot plane" flight to the U.S.

Bieber and his father Jeremy were on their way back from Bieber's Toronto booking on assault charges. According to an official report obtained by NBC News,
The captain of the flight stated that he warned the passengers, including Bieber, on several occasions to stop smoking marijuana. The captain also stated he needed to request that the passengers stop their harassing behavior toward the flight attendant and after several warnings asked the flight attendant to stay with him near the cockpit to avoid any further abuse.
Reportedly, the cockpit of the Gulfstream IV, a small jet with a capacity of 19, was so full of pot smoke that that pilots were forced to don oxygen masks.

In addition, Bieber and his team allegedly harassed the cabin staff during the flight. One flight attendant was so incensed by the treatment that she vowed to never work on another flight Bieber was on.

Bieber was accompanied by a 10-member strong team and his father. The flight was grounded at Teterboro upon landing so that DEA staff and law enforcement could search the plane for narcotics. However, while police dogs signaled the presence of drugs in at least one of the pieces of luggage marked with Bieber¹s name, no drugs were found.

Police later returned to the jet to conduct a second search, at which time they found bags that could have at one time been filled with marijuana, but could not link the items to Bieber or any member of his entourage, the report says.

One person who boarded the plane three hours after Bieber et. al. disembarked said it continued to reek of pot smoke.

Justin Bieber's 26-year-old 'breast offering' stripper revealed

The identity of the stripper who owns the breasts that Justin Bieber and his friend Khalil Sharieff were seen sucking on has been identified by TMZ. And while commentary has been that she was on the older side, she most certainly is not.

The original report said that "Sources at the party say the stripper looked old enough to be Justin's mother." That did not sit too well with 26-year-old Karolina, who began working as a stripper in Las Vegas very recently after moving from Chicago. Bieber and his entourage specifically selected Karolina and two other dancers to return to his Last Vegas penthouse for the "action;" earlier reports had said the picture was taken at a Los Angelese recording studio.

Bieber reportedly paid the strippers thousands of dollars -- each -- in cash. The events took place when Bieber and crew visited Las Vegas in January, prior to his Florida DUI / drag racing arrest.

It's unclear how the image was taken. Once the women arrived in the penthouse, not only were their cell phones confiscated, they were each required to sign one of Bieber's famous NDAs.

That NDA would prevent them from speaking about what happened that night, so it's also unclear who the source is that leaked all of this.

While no further details on any other "party favors" distributed by the women was revealed by TMZ's source, it was said that Karolina voluntarily posed for the breast photo.

Four arrests made in connection with heroin in Philip Seymour Hoffman's apartmen

The aftermath of the death of Academy Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman continues to play out. In a raid that took place late Tuesday night, as CNN reported, police arrested four people (three men and a woman) in connection to the drugs found in Hoffman's apartment on Sunday, when he was discovered dead from an apparent drug overdose.

During the raid, police recovered 350 glassine-type bags of what is believed to be heroin, officials said.

Lab tests continue on the heroin found in Hoffman's apartment, but a law enforcement official said that preliminary test results showed the heroin does not contain fentanyl. Fentanyl-laced heroin has been linked to the deaths of several people. Fentanyl is a powerful narcotic normally used to treat the pain of cancer patients.

In January, it was reported that at least 22 people died after using heroin mixed with fentanyl in western Pennsylvania. Just last week, officials in Maryland said heroin laced with fentanyl had taken at least 37 lives since September.

Reportedly, authorities have discovered that Saturday night, the evening before Hoffman died, he withdrew $1,200 from a grocery store ATM near his apartment, using six transactions.

Early, it was reported that a witness told investigators that he saw the actor speaking to two men wearing messenger bags at about 8 p.m. Police are also reviewing surveillance video for additional clues.

A private funeral service for family and close friends of the actor will be held in New York, and plans are also under way for a memorial service later this month, but no information on specific dates is currently available.

Tonight, the Broadway theater district will dim its marquees for one minute at 7:45 p.m. in his memory.

With 50 bags, Philip Seymour Hoffman readied himself for heroin binge: Report

Philip Seymour Hoffman, who appears to have died of a drug overdose on Sunday, was found with a huge quantity of heroin, according to a Monday TMZ report. Law enforcement sources told the celebrity website that they found about 50 bags of heroin in Hoffman's New York City apartment.

Initially, the number of bags was put at ten, not a small number for one person, anyway. However, with the number now being set at five times that much, it would appear that Hoffman was ready to binge on the drug.

This makes a Fox News report about Hoffman possibly buying drugs from two men on Saturday night. That purchase was reportedly at an ATM, and investigators are reportedly trying to acquire surveillance video from the bank.

Hoffman was reportedly found in his bathroom in his underwear, with a needle sticking out of his left arm. The actor had struggled with dependency issues in the past, and most recently checked himself into a rehab facility for heroin back in May of 2013.

'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' trailer two: He certainly looks familiar, doesn't he?

Boy, that "Winter Soldier" looks familiar, doesn't he? Or perhaps he does not. More on that later (but those who don't want to know about his ID should just skip to the trailer).

Much as the title of the upcoming X-Men film does ("Days of Future Past") does, "The Winter Soldier" gives away the plot of the film, as it is the same as a well-known storyline in the comics.

In this trailer (no. 2), we get to see Captain America's new partner, the Falcon, in flight. No, he's not played by Will Smith, as some comments on YouTube asked, but instead by Anthony Mackie. In the comics, the Falcon did not fly originally, but later was gifted with a flying harness by the Black Panther.

In the comics, the "Winter Soldier" storyline was designed by Marvel to bring back Bucky Barnes, who had been long dead after dying in the accident that ended up freezing Captain America in hibernation until the Avengers found him. The fact that the movies would resurrect Bucky was made clear by the fact that Sebastian Stan was signed for multiple movies.

In the comics, Bucky Barnes resurrection is described as follows:
After the plane explodes, General Vasily Karpov and the crew of a Russian patrol submarine find Bucky's cold-preserved body missing one arm. Bucky is revived in Moscow, but suffers brain damage with amnesia as a result of the explosion. Scientists attach a bionic arm, upgrading it as technology improves.

Programmed to be a Soviet assassin for Department X, under the code name the Winter Soldier, he is sent on covert wetworks missions, i.e., missions involving assassination, becoming increasingly ruthless and efficient as he kills in the name of the state.
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier," is set to hit theaters on April 4.

Source shops Justin Bieber strip club video around

It's not clear whether or not this would be an extension of the antics of Justin Bieber (and friend Khalil Sharieff), who were "exposed" last week sucking on the breasts of a stripper, in a photo obtained by TMZ. However, a new report issued by Radar Online (via Hollywood Life) says that there may be another strip club escapade that could be revealed, in "crystal clear video."

The video isn't really a sex tape, apparently, because there is no actual sex. There is a lot of friskiness, though, with the 19-year-old "Baby" singer caught in compromising positions and partying “with two
strippers during which he spanks their bum and pulls off their panties with his teeth,” a Australian source said.

The video was caught on a surveillance camera inside a strip club in the Australian state of Queensland during Beiber's tour of the Land Down Under last year. Specifically, the footage was taken in November.

The video is being shopped to various media outlets, and the seller is apparently demanding a high price. In a still image provided to as apparent proof, Bieber can be seen wearing his baseball cap backwards, with his security nearby and two topless strippers.

Assuming this is true, it comes at a time when Bieber is under a lot of pressure because of his recent antics. They include things like (allegedly) egging a neighbor's house, and arrests in both Florida and Toronto, along with the breast-sucking image.

He was also excluded from at least four different Super Bowl parties over the weekend, which might be more severe punishment than anything the legal system will dole out to him, when and if it does.

Watch as Bush daughter Jenna dances 'bizarrely' to Jay-Z at Super Bowl XLVIII party

It was Saturday night (naturally) at the DirecTV Super Saturday Night party at Pier 40, a number of celebrities were in force, including Aaron Paul, Ashanti, Ashley Greene, Bar Refaeli, Chrissy Teigen, Gayle King, Hayden Panettiere, Jamie Foxx, John Legend, Kate Upton, Kevin Costner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Macklemore, Michael B. Jordan, Michelle Williams, Paul McCartney, Spike Lee, and Tim Tebow, but it was Jenna Bush Hager who took over the stage during that the New York Daily News called "bizarre" dancing.

She and her husband, Henry, took to the dance floor along with a group of friends. They remained front and center for Jay Z’s entire set (see embedded video).

At one point she during the set she slapped her husband's read end as the couple danced to "99 Problems" and "Holy Grail."

A witness said:
It was truly bizarre to see the daughter of the 43rd President going bananas to Jay Z. She was one of the most animated people at the party and seemed to be having the time of her life. It was hilarious when she started wiggling her legs.
While Bush Hager was able to get into the party, "Baby" singer Justin Bieber was denied entrance.

Reportedly, organizers did not want the 19-year-old pop superstar -- who has been in the news recently for a number of things, including an arrest in Florida and one in Toronto, too, anywhere near the event.
