Phamaceutical company displeased with free PR over Justin Bieber sizzurp use

On Sunday, TMZ revealed the "type" of sizzurp that it previously said Justin Bieber has been "guzzling." It was, the site said, the Rolls-Royce of sizzurp (AKA "lean"), and on Tuesday, the company involved said it wasn't down with the free publicity (also via TMZ).

As part of his sizzurp intake, Bieber reportedly likes Actavis prometh with codeine cough syrup. This is high quality stuff, folks in the lean community say. The concoction, also known as purple drank, contains codeine -- in doses much higher than medically recommended -- and promethazine.

Typically the mixture includes ingredients such as Sprite or Mountain Dew and sometimes a Jolly Rancher candy for extra sweetness.

A rep for Actavis said that the company "does not condone its use for any indications outside of this (it's medically stated) purpose." Actavis prometh with codeine cough syrup -- as you would expect -- used for temporary relief of coughs and upper respiratory symptoms associated with allergies and common colds.

While sizzurp is atop the list of the drinks the Bieber is imbibing (pun intended), reports say that Bieber is also abusing a lot of prescription medication, including Xanax, but also the more expected alcohol and ganja.

Reports further state that people in his camp are trying to get him into rehab.
