Are Justin Bieber's parents facilitators and enablers?

Justin Bieber's parents are enablers and facilitators, TMZ reported in two separate stories on Thursday.

First, sources familiar with the situation said that father Jeremy Bieber, 38, was not only present when his pop superstar son was arrested on early Thursday morning, he was one of the people who helped block off the residential street so Justin Bieber could drag race.

Not only that, dad and son were bonding in the SET night club just prior to the arrest.  Jeremy was also

It's even worse ... Jeremy was in SET nightclub just before the arrest -- with Justin -- and was around him all day.  As we said earlier, Bieber said he had been smoking pot all day long.

In addition, law enforcement sources told TMZ that Bieber dished on what substances he had partaken of before his arrest. Bieber admitted to drinking, prescription medicine, and pot.

Where does the mom-enabling part come in? When asked about the prescription medication, Bieber said that he took anti-anxiety pills, such as Xanax, but he couldn't confirm the type. That's because he apparently just takes whatever his mother "gives him."

It's unclear if that means his mother just doles out drugs from Bieber's own legal prescriptions, or if it means that he is abusing his mother's prescriptions.

Bieber was booked and was assessed bail of $2,500. He's already paid that, and left jail to the cheers of still-adoring fans.
