On-set 'Transformers 4' video shows off the 'destruction' of Detroit

It's no secret that Detroit has been turned into China for "Transformers 4." What remains a secret is who will clean up the city after all the filming is done. A new on-set video posted on YouTube on Wednesday shows off Bumblebee and a lot of destruction.

The film is expected to pick up some four years after the conclusion of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" (or "Transformers 3"). Its synopsis is:
In "Transformers 4," Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control -- all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his cross-hairs.

The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.
No exact date has been announced as to when "Transformers 4" filming will begin.

The still-untitled film is scheduled for a June 27, 2014 release. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor. Wahlberg will not be playing the Sam Witwicky role previously played by Shia LaBeouf, Bay announced earlier, but will instead be playing Flynn "Ray" Vincent.

According to Wikipedia, the three leads have been signed for a trio of films.

Also confirmed: Peter Cullen, the iconic voice of Optimus Prime, will reprise that role.

Ehren Kruger wrote the screenplay and Steve Jablonsky will score the film. Michael Bay, of course, directs.
