It all began when police saw Bieber's white Ferrari fail to halt at a stop sign near his Calabasas home at around 4:30 a.m. PDT Wednesday morning. As they processed the citation, police noticed that Bieber did not have a valid California driver's license.
Law enforcement sources said the pop superstar was cited for both running the stop sign and for driving without a valid California license. He was forced to get out of the driver's seat -- at least until he was well out of sight of the police, right -- and his passenger was made to drive the car home.
We now have to wonder if Bieber will try to execute "celebrity privilege" and storm a DMV office sans an appointment, hoping to use his status to get his license earlier than if he had to either make an appointment or stand in line.
Residents of Bieber's Calabasas gated community, where he has lived since the end of June, have been up in arms at his driving behavior -- as well as that of his BFFs -- within the realm of the community.
