Gone viral: Miley Cyrus video twerking with Robin Thicke and the Will Smith family reaction

It seems we can't take Miley Cyrus out any longer without something controversial happening. Not only did video of Cyrus twerking Robin Thicke at the MTV VMAs on Sunday go viral (embedded), so did the reaction (as noted in the video an by The Daily Mail) of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and their kids Jaden and Willow.

Cyrus first performed her own song, "We Can't stop," to much twerking and tonguing. At one point in the song, MTV bleeped the word "molly," which -- when the song came out -- was criticized as it stands for MDMA or (ecstacy).

That was enough, but later, during Robin Thicke's performance on his song "Blurred Lines," Cyrus reappeared, in nude-colored underwear and leaving virtually nothing to the imagination in a close-to-adult-film rated performance.

In addition to twerking, Cyrus repeatedly grabbed at Thicke's crotch while wearing a giant foam finger. She also used that finger for other purposes, sticking it out from between her legs to simulate you-know-what.

The image of the Smith clan amazed at Cyrus performance was just one of the things to hit social media, as disapproval began sweeping the Internet.

Country star Josh Gracin tweeted: "Thanks Miley Cyrus. Now I have to explain to my 11 yr old daughter why she no longer can follow your career."

Actress Minnie Driver tweeted, "Miley Cyrus needs an early night.”

That, of course, did not happen.
