Utah rehab facility turns down request for Paris Jackson transfer

Rejected, that's how Paris Jackson must feel right now. A report issued on Tuesday said that the 15-year-old daughter of the late, great pop superstar was turned down by a Utah rehab center over fears of a horde of paparazzi.

Jackson is currently ensconced at the UCLA Medical Center, where she has been receiving treatment after her attempted suicide. Jackson reportedly made a request to be transferred, and her biological mother, Debbie Rowe, researched adolescent medical facilities around the country and found one in Utah that she felt would be perfect.

However, that clinic decided against taking in Jackson, fearing photographers will descend on the facility, and -- while there to take pictures of Paris -- will also invade the privacy of other patients at the site.

Rowe, however, is not pleased with other options, and thus continues her search.

Doctors at the UCLA Medical Center will not allow Jackson to return home, fearing that Paris will attempt suicide again if she does not receive further treatment.

Rowe relayed a message (via People) from Paris Jackson to her fans (some of which have been accused of being critics or worse, and of driving her crazy with acidic Facebook comments):
My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all your thoughts and prayers and support... She's strong like her father.
