Jessica Simpson, fiance Eric Johnson welcome their second child

Still no wedding, but a second baby, for sure. Jessica Simpson, 32, and her fiance, former NFL player Eric Johnson, 33, welcomed their baby boy, Ace Knute Johnson on Sunday.

It's unclear where the name Ace came from, but we'd have to speculate that Knute came from Knute Rockne, based on Johnson's pro football history.  That is, of course, pure speculation.

It's the second child for the couple. Ace has a elder sister, born nearly exactly a year ago. One-year-old Maxwell Drew was born in May of 2012.

Maxwell Drew was key to the first public announcement of Simpson's new pregnancy. Simpson issued a Christmas Day 2012 tweet that had a photo of daughter Maxwell playing in the sand in Hawaii with the words "BIG SIS" drawn next to her.

The country singer and actress accidentally revealed that she and Johnson were expecting a boy on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in March, in a colloquial way. She said:
It's a total different pregnancy. I just feel awful ... I've been vomiting. The crazy thing is, I never knew a wiener could actually make me nauseous.
Realizing she just gave away the secret, she added:
Well, I guess I just told the world I'm having a boy.
Once her pregnancy was announced, Simpson also announced that she was halting her participation in a Weight Watchers weight loss program.

Simpson reportedly gained 70 pounds during her first pregnancy. Shortly after giving birth to Maxwell, she signed a contract to be the new Weight Watchers spokeswoman. Simpson reportedly later dropped 60 pounds within six months of giving birth. Despite losing her support, upon learning the news of her second pregnancy, the company tweeted,
Congrats to @JessicaSimpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell! Your WW family is so thrilled for you. What an amazing year you've had!
