As was reported earlier, Jose Canseco was named as a suspect in a sexual assault investigation stemming from an alleged incident on May 10. He denied the claims, and while some can say it was uncool that he was accused of a crime he didn't commit, what Canseco did wasn't cool either.
He tweeted his denials to the allegations, but in doing so, he also tweeted the alleged victim's name. She is a fitness model, and Canseco tweeted her name, work address, and phone number. While he later removed most of those tweets, they were still available on sites that aggregate such information.
In addition, the following day -- meaning the day after the allegations went public -- Canseco continued his Twitter assault on the fitness model, including her name in further tweets. He challenged her to take a lie detector test, which he himself did. He passed the polygraph, which he took in late May.
It's unclear if the model ever took a polygraph, but no matter: Las Vegas detectives have closed the case and will not seek criminal charges.
