Lindsay Vonn gets an 'airlift' out of Austria on Tiger Woods' private jet

More evidence is stacking up that Tiger Woods and Lindsay Vonn are dating. After a frightening skiing accident on Tuesday which resulted in two torn ligaments and a broken bone in Vonn's lower leg, Tiger Woods helped the skier get out of Austria; she was seen boarding his private jet on Friday.

Vonn and Woods have been rumored to be dating, though there has been no official confirmation. Vonn, in fact, has stated that she and Tiger Woods are "just friends," although friends who share private jets are few and far between.

Vonn is expected to have surgery next week in Vail, Colo. She was seen exiting Austria on crutches, though, so there has been some improvement in her condition.

Vonn said on Wednesday that she expects to compete in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, which start in about 12 months. She was released from the hospital late Tuesday and returned to the team hotel. In a statement issued on Wednesday, she said:

I am grateful to my fans for the outpouring of support, which has really helped me stay positive. I can assure you that I will work as hard as humanly possible to be ready to represent my country next year in Sochi [at the 2014 Winter Olympics].

Vonn's divorce from ex-husband Thomas Vonn was finalized in January. Most people know about Tiger's infamous divorce. His divorce from Elin Nordegren was finalized on Aug. 23, 2010.

Woods and Nordegren saw their marriage hit the skids when it became known that he had numerous affairs with other women while he was still married to Nordegren. The couple had two children together, daughter Sam Alexis (born in 2007) and son Charlie Axel (born in 2009).

Woods, for those keeping track, is 37. Lindsay Vonn is 28.
