Fergie tweets announcement of pregnancy

Fergie, nee Stacy Ferguson, has confirmed her pregnancy via the micro-blogging site Twitter. The Black-Eyed Peas singer tweeted on Monday:
Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump
The hashtag "Mylovelybabybump" is a reference to her hit song with the Black Eyed Peas. For those hoping to see her baby bump, the Instagram and Twitter picture links instead display childhood pictures of her and her husband of three years, Josh Duhamel, 40, along with a cat (Baby, we assume).

The 37-year-old Fergie has made no secret of her desire to be a mother. Speaking to Rachael Ray in September of 2012, she said:
[People ask if I'm pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I'm a couple pounds up. Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they're expecting [that] it's that time.

We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it's not yet.
It apparently is now. More recently, Fergie said that the "trying" was fun.
We'll be happy when it happens. It's not really in our hands but trying is great for our relationship.
In 2012, in the wake of the death of the couple's beloved rescue dog, Meatloaf, who died of a brain disorder, Josh Duhamel said the couple was planning to start a family rather than replace the canine. He said:
I think we're going to focus on our human baby first. Hopefully we'll have kids and then at some point we'll get another dog.
He also said, during an appearance on "Oprah’s Next Chapter," that he originally wanted five children, but the number was negotiated down after discussion to two.

The couple is halfway home, unless they are expecting twins, in which case they are done.
