Ryan Lochte's reality TV gig: 'What would Ryan Lochte do?'

It's no secret: right after -- even during -- the London Olympics, swimmer Ryan Lochte made it clear he wanted to be on a reality TV series (he has already managed to get a gig on "90210"). He has his wish, as on Monday it was announced Ryan Lochte will star in the six-episode reality documentary series “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?”

NBC Universal’s E! network detailed the new series, which had been rumbled about for a while.

"What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" will debut in April, and on it, viewers will be able to watch Lochte training for the 2016 Rio Olympics (which, coinicidentally enough, are set to be broadcast on NBC and its subsidiary networks).

Watchers of the show will also get to see him interacting with his family, partying while also working on his fashion line, and dating.

The dating aspect is somewhat funny, as earlier, Lochte said he would like a chance at "The Bachelor," but his mother added that her son hadn't been pursuing a relationship, but instead "goes out on one-night stands." Lochte later clarified that saying his mother intended to say "dates."

E! president Suzanne Kolb said:
He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: they want to be him, sleep with him or mother him.
Sleep with him? Kolb and Lochte's mother are on the same page.

Lochte, 28, won five medals at the London Summer Games. All told, he is an eleven-time Olympic medalist (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012), with five of them gold.
