Miranda Kerr named U.K, Esquire's 'Sexiest Woman Alive'

Well, this is sad. Can no one agree on who is the sexiest woman alive? On Wednesday, Esquire named Miranda Kerr the Sexiest Woman Alive. Wait, though, didn't Esquire just name Mila Kunis the Sexiest Woman Alive? What's going on here?

The answer is simple: Mila Kunis was named the Sexiest Woman Alive by the U.S. version of the magazine. Miranda Kerr was named Sexiest Woman Alive 2012 for the U.K. version of the magazine.

Kerr first rose to prominence in 2007 as one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. She was the first Australian to participate in the Victoria's Secret campaign and also represents Australian fashion chain David Jones. She is married to English actor Orlando Bloom ("Lord of the Rings"), which perhaps explains the U.K. magazine's pick, somewhat.

In the December issue of Esquire U.K., Kerr can be seen in the "Women We Love" feature.
I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we’ve been given. We always have so much fun when we shoot and my temperament's flirtatious, so it's second nature to me.
She added that she is a tomboy at heart and "must have been a koala" in a past life.
I spent my childhood outdoors on my grandparents' farm. I learned to ride a motorbike when I was about six, a little PeeWee 50. I'd climb trees - there was a big weeping willow. We had a [zip-line]. I was so fortunate to grow up like that.
A number of images of Kerr can be seen in the slideshow here.

Star Wars Episode VII to be all-new, not rely on previously written canon

Which of the post-"Return of the Jedi" novels will be adapted for the upcoming "Star Wars" trilogy, VII through IX? None of them, according to news coming on Wednesday, despite the fact that many of them are considered canon.

In the wake of the Tuesday news that Disney has acquired LucasFilm, and thus a new round of Star Wars films will be made, comes the obvious question: "what will they cover?"

The first books to emerge as canon after the final chapter in the original Star Wars Trilogy were a trilogy of books known alternatively as "The Thrawn Trilogy" or "The Heir to the Empire Trilogy."

Written by Timothy Zahn, the books not only cover important events in the Star Wars saga, they introduce many important characters. Star Wars fans literally absorbed the books after the original trilogy of movies.

In summary, via Wikipedia, the trilogy's storyline was as follows:
As the first book opens, the Rebellion, now known as the New Republic, is still fighting to mop up final Imperial resistance and set up a functional government. Out in the fringes of the galaxy, the most brilliant of all the hand-picked Grand Admirals is gaining strength and preparing to attack the New Republic. After convincing a Dark Jedi to join his side, Grand Admiral Thrawn is confident of his victory.
That trilogy comprises the first set of events after the "Return of the Jedi," with Luke Skywalker encountering not just Thrawn but Mara Jade, an assassin who was trained to avenge the Emperor by killing Luke, but who eventually throws off that training and marries him.

Of course, Han and Leia have twins, Luke has his own son and starts a Jedi Academy, and something happens to Chewbacca that we won't discuss here if you don't already know it.

None of those pre-written events will be used for the upcoming film trilogy, however. The trilogy will be all new.

That means everything we known from the graphic novels, comic books, and novelizations are null and void. Could the movies exist alongside the original canon storylines? Perhaps, but we won't know for a while, at least until leaks begin.

Disney has already said that Episode VII, still untitled, will debut in 2015.

Tim Tebow seen out-and-about with new girlfriend Camila Belle

Some have been pushing for famous Christian and virgin Lolo Jones to start dating famous Christian and virgin Tim Tebow, but that relationship hasn't come to fruition (pun intended) so here we are, and TMZ caught Tim Tebow out on the town with his new girlfriend.

Tim Tebow and Camilla Belle showed up at Latitude 30 in Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday night. An arcade-style venue, it was perfect for a relatively chaste outing; the couple bowled and partied.

The couple was somewhat affectionate throughout the evening, holding hands and touching. There were no reports of out-and-out Kristen Stewart / Rupert Sanders style making out, however.

It is unclear when the couple met, but Tebow and Belle both attended the "Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations" Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 7, 2012 in New York City (shown above).

Camilla Belle has a history with virginal celebs. She once dated Joe Jonas, but the pair split in 2009.

Tebow is in Jacksonville, Florida during the New York Jets' bye week. Although it's been rumored that the Jets might trade Tebow to the Jacksonville Jaguars before the NFL trade deadline on Thursday, that's certainly not the only reason Tebow could be in Florida. After all, Tebow went to the University of Florida and grew up in the Jacksonville area.

That said, because of his roots, a trade might make a ton of sense PR-wise, but perhaps not football-wise. A recent SI poll said Tebow was the most overrated player in the NFL.

Nanny's report states Octomom's eldest son viewed her masturbation video

Octomom (Nadya Suleman) managed to stay out of the news for a while, but recently she's been all over news sites. Although the most recent story involving Suleman is her entry into rehab, slightly earlier than that she was accused by former nannies of child sex abuse and neglect, and a new report on Wednesday harkens back to that older story.

The new report indicates that at least of Octomom's children watched her masturbation video. You remember that, the one that launched her (soft) porn career via Wicked Video.

She's actually seen a decent amount of income from her new career, and speaking of "seeing" the report that one of her kids watched it comes from one of her former nannies, in the same case involving Suleman's "parenting skills."

The report from TMZ cites correspondence between nanny "Gina B" and the Orange County Department of Children and Family Services, in which the former Octomom nanny stipulates that on June 28, 2012, Suleman ran to her crying, stating that she found her eldest son watching pornography - her pornography - on his cell phone.

"Gina B" further said 11-year-old Elijah had discovered the website that had posted his mother's masturbation video and decided to sneak a peek. The nanny says Octo handed her the phone and asked her to block the site, but when the nanny said she needed a passcode, Octo told her to forget it.

Ironically, to some viewers the reaction of watching the Suleman video was crying and ripping at their eyes, just as Suleman did after discovering Elijah (although she eschewed ripping at her eyes).

The nanny added that Octomom told her that she and her then-boyfriend Frankie would have a discussion with Elijah about where and where not to visit, online.

Despite these allegations, earlier this month prosecutors said there would be no charges in the case, citing lack of evidence.

Miley Cyrus' hot new 'Decisions' video to feature porn star Jessie Andrews

If you think Miley Cyrus' new "Decisions" music video, which will be released later this week, will be hot, you don't know the half of it. Reportedly, the 19-year-old singer - actress hired adult film actress Jessie Andrews (shown), 20, for the hot, steamy new music video.

It probably wasn't a hard decision for Cyrus. The video is being made in collaboration with Israeli DJ Borgore, who used to date Andrews. In fact, in March of this year, Andrews was featured in Borgore's music video for "Flex."

Andrews is sure to steam up the video, since she took home the Best Actress honors at this year's Adult Video News Awards. Earlier this year, she was honored with the AVN Award for Best Actress (for "Portrait of a Call Girl"), the XBIZ Award for the Acting Performance of the Year for her performance in the same film, and New Starlet of the Year as well, and the XRCO Award for Best Actress ("Portrait of a Call Girl") and New Starlet.

The video was reportedly shot a few weeks ago at Beacher’s Madhouse. It's already been confirmed to include a unicorn (Miley's fiance Liam Hemsworth), Cyrus jumping out of a cake, a goat, and a woman who can crush watermelons with her breasts.

We assume that woman is not Jessie Andrews, based on her, er, lack of "top-heaviness."

In September, Rolling Stone spoke to Cyrus, and she discussed the video. She said,
That sh*t was crazy. [Liam] walked into his hotel room, and it was people in the weirdest clothes you've ever seen. My fiance was dressed as a unicorn – we make out in the video, which is very funny. It's just the most random group. We walk in and we're like, "This feels like a party," so it's dope.
The New York Post reported that Cyrus wore “short leather shorts" and in addition to jumping out of the wedding cake, was seen performing a striptease for the crew between takes.

Bella gets human lessons in new 'Breaking Dawn, Part 2' clip

We all know that Bella has been turned into a vampire (don't we) in order to save her life as a result of the birth of Renesmee, and as a result we have already seen that Bella revels in her vampiric powers.

In those trailers, we've heard Bella (Kristen Stewart) say "After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found I could shine." However, despite enjoying her vampiric powers, she has to re-learn something: being human, or at least, acting human.

We see Bella's lesson in a new clip from the upcoming film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2," posted Tuesday.

Alice (Ashley Greene) shows Bella how to put in her contacts, but walking across a room, and even sitting in a chair and crossing her legs proves more challenging for someone with new vampire powers.

It's somewhat humorous, as Bella is told to move slowly, blink at least three times a minute, and slouch, because humans don't sit up straight. Oh, and she has to remember to pretend to breathe.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" is the final film in a five-movie series that encompassed the four books of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" book series. The other four were "Twilight," "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1."

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" hits theaters Nov. 16, but with some showings taking place late on Nov. 15 as part of a "Twilight" movie marathon.

The Force is strong in Disney as it acquires LucasFilm, 'Episode VII' due in 2015

"Star Wars, Episode VII" is coming, with a title TBD. It's coming from LucasFilm, naturally, but perhaps only because of something just announced today: Walt Disney Company has purchased LucasFilm for $4 billion.

Previously, George Lucas has said that he wasn't interested in continuing the Star Wars saga past "The Return of the Jedi." In fact, in an interview published in Total Film in May of 2008, Lucas ruled out anybody else making a sequel trilogy or any other feature films.

This would include anything being done after he passed away. When asked if he was happy for new Star Wars tales to be told after he was gone, Lucas replied:
I've left pretty explicit instructions for there not to be any more features. There will definitely be no Episodes VII–IX. That's because there isn't any story. I mean, I never thought of anything. And now there have been novels about the events after Episode VI, which isn't at all what I would have done with it. The Star Wars story is really the tragedy of Darth Vader. That is the story. Once Vader dies, he doesn't come back to life, the Emperor doesn't get cloned and Luke doesn't get married...
$4 billion apparently changed Lucas' mind. Disney will pay about half of the $4.05 billion in cash and will issue approximately 40 million shares at the closing of the deal. The transaction price is based in part on the closing price of Disney stock on Oct. 26, 2012.

Included in the press release was the news Star Wars fans have been waiting for:
Star Wars Episode 7 is targeted for release in 2015, with more feature films expected to continue the Star Wars saga and grow the franchise well into the future.
The blockbuster deal follows other such Disney acquisitions as Pixar and Marvel Entertainment. With the deal in place, Disney will have rights to Marvel characters (though not all, as the Marvel Universe is splintered with other properties like X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man being owned by other companies), Pixar "magic," and the Star Wars universe.

This deals includes brands and operations such as LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound.

Villain, other Marvel characters confirmed for 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'

Several details about the upcoming film, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" were confirmed on Tuesday. The film is a sequel to 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger."

First, Variety has confirmed that Frank Grillo, who appeared earlier this year in "The Grey," will play Crossbones, AKA Brock Rumlow, in the film. Crossbones is villain in the Marvel Comics universe, though without any super-powers. He is more like DC's Batman in that respect, being a master in hand-to-hand combat and an expert marksman and pilot.

Grillo himself launched rumors last Monday when he mentioned a visit to Los Angeles and a meeting with Marvel along with the hashtag "#captainamerica" on Twitter.  The posts were later deleted.

Hot on the heels of that report comes confirmation that some characters - and their actors and actresses - you might recognize will join the film. Reprising their roles from earlier Marvel Studios films will be Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (The Black Widow) and Cobie Smulders (S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Maria Hill).

As was long rumored, Sebastian Stan will return as Bucky Barnes (or the Winter Soldier).  It's believed the film will follow "The Winter Soldier" storyline from the comics, which resurrected Bucky Barnes.

Finally, the alias for the film has been revealed. Principal photography on "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" begins in March of 2013, and the production title for the film, used when on location, is "Freezerburn." Those in Cleveland, Ohio next spring should be on the look for any references to "Freezerburn."

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will star Chris Evans, reprising his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America, and franchise newcomer Anthony Mackie in the role of the Falcon. The film will debut in theaters on April 4, 2014.

A warm 'Rise of the Guardians' featurette shows off Jack Frost

On Tuesday, Dreamworks Animation released a new featurette from its adaptation of William Joyce's "Guardians of Childhood" book series.

This new featurette focuses on Jack Frost, one of the heroes of the film.

The "Guardians of Childhood" series encompasses three novels:
  • Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King (2011)
  • E. Aster Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth's Core! (2012)
  • Toothiana: Queen of the Tooth Fairy Armies (2012)
... as well as two picture books:
  • The Man in the Moon (2011)
  • The Sandman: The Story of Sanderson Mansnoozie (2012)
"Rise of the Guardians" is described as follows:

"Jack Frost (Chris Pine) is a carefree boy who has no responsibilities in the world aside from bringing winter wherever he goes. But everything changes when Pitch (Jude Law), the Nightmare King, begins his plan to engulf the world in darkness. The Guardians, Santa Claus (Alec Baldwin), the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher), the Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman) and the Sandman (the only silent main character) enlist Jack to join their group to stop Pitch and protect the children of the world."

"Rise of the Guardians" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 21 (the day before Thanksgiving). It will be the final DreamWorks Animation film to be distributed by Paramount Pictures, as DreamWorks has signed a five-year distribution deal with 20th Century Fox, which begins in 2013.

Kelsey Grammer brings three-month-old daughter to Playboy party

Kelsey Grammer, 57, who some said was robbing the cradle when he dated, then married Kayte Walsh, a British flight attendant who is 25 years his junior, took his daughter with him to the Playboy Halloween party in Los Angeles on Saturday night. She passed out. However, although Grammer has five children and one grandchild, in this case it wasn't one of his adult kids: it was Faith, who is three months old.

Indeed, he didn't bring her in a cradle, but in a car seat, but the question remains if it was a good decision or not.

Guess what? Grammer wasn't monitoring Faith all evening long, nor was Kayte, apparently. In an image obtained by TMZ, an unknown "hot chick" is seen watching over Faith. The woman appears to be drinking.

Assuming it was a Playmate, the question is: would you trust your three-month-old to some woman you don't know very well (although it is, of course, possibly Grammer knew the woman, perhaps even intimately.

At least one partygoer wasn't happy with Grammer's decision. Melissa May tweeted,
Why the fk does Kelsey Grammer have a newborn baby at the Mansion party!?!?!? (sic)
Those wondering why Grammer didn't simply leave Faith home with her nannies, usually a requisite for celebrities should know that he has previously insisted that the family does not have nannies, because they prefer to raise Faith on their own. He said:
We don't have nannies, so I do a lot of nappy changing, which I'm quite good at now.

I also do quite a bit of cleaning up around the house, just because I prefer it that way. I don't like a mess. I like a tidy house, the thing things in the right place and the laundry to be done. I'm a slave to my home in fact.

Octomom checks herself into rehab

It's a good thing that Nadya Suleman (Octomom) has current nannies who seem to like her better than her former nannies, because she is going to have to rely on them for a month. Suleman, 37, admitted herself into the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Orange County over the weekend.

Interestingly enough, the information comes straight from a Suleman representative. The unnamed spokesperson said:
Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help with a team of doctors. Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be.
Octomom had reportedly been using Xanax to deal with stress.

Nadya has three nannies to care for her 14 children, along with two friends, and a driver that has been taking the kids to and from school. She is doing this all on her own, with neither her mother nor father being asked to help with her brood.

As far as expenses go, apparently her porn career has taken off. She has made enough money - the word "ton" has been bandied about - to afford the rehab stint.

Meanwhile, though, the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center has offered to pick up the tab. It's unclear, however, if Suleman took them up on their offer.

As you may recall, Suleman came to international attention when she gave birth to octuplets in January 2009. Public reaction turned negative when it was discovered that Suleman already had six other young children - also conceived via IVF - and was unemployed, single and on public assistance programs.

The name Octomom was conceived by the media, within the first week of her octuplets' birth.

Tom Cruise won't press charges against his drunken neighbor / trespasser

Tom Cruise won't press charges against Jason Sullivan, an Australian model/interior designer/reality star who trespassed onto his property in a drunken stupor, it's been reported. Sullivan has been living next door to Cruise at the home of Kevin Huvane, Tom's agent.

It's unclear if the lack of charges stems from that fact - the relationship to Tom's agent - or because, as Bert Fields, Tom's lawyer said, "Tom's not a vindictive guy. (And) The guy was drunk. He didn't have a malicious intent."

Apparently, the story goes as follows: Jason Sullivan was out partying late with friends on Sunday night, and knowing he was too drunk to drive home, he hitched a ride home with a sober friend.

However, doing the responsible thing turned ugly, when the friend dropped Sullivan off near the Beverly Hills home of Huvane. The drunk Australian became confused and tried to enter an adjacent home instead. That home, of course, happens to belong to Tom Cruise.

Sullivan attempted to scale a fence at the Cruise home around 9 p.m. on Sunday night. As you might expect, Tom has security, and Sullivan was met with a Taser. The 41-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Tom was not home at the time of the incident. Video of Sullivan's arrest is embedded.

Lil Wayne chastised by judge after hilarious deposition played in court

As we speculated might be the case, Lil Wayne, who suffered two seizures late last week, was unable to testify at a hearing today in the case of his lawsuit against the producers of the film "The Carter."

Lil Wayne, nee Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., has sued the producers of the 2009 documentary "The Carter," including Quincy Jones' son Quincy Jones III. The official reason for the suit is because the producers used his music, including a number of tracks from his album "Tha Carter III," without his permission. At the same time, though, it's been said that Lil Wayne called the film a "scandalous portrayal."

However, it was clear that Wayne was fine with the filming, as he allowed cameras to follow him around. What he didn't like, apparently, was the resulting completed film, as well as the use of his music.

Since he could not appear, Wayne's lawyer played the rapper's deposition tapes for the judge and jury. That turned into a huge problem, though, as TMZ reported earlier that the tapes show Wayne acting immaturely, with one-liners abounding. He even refused to answer questions, despite the fact that this is his lawsuit.

Although the tapes have been called hilarious, the -- but the judge wasn't amused, scolding Wayne for displaying "unreasonable conduct in the deposition" and "irresponsible behavior."    Fortunately for Wayne, he wasn't around to be personally chastised.

The video of the deposition is embedded.

Paramount Pictures releases 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' red band trailer

The story of Hansel and Gretel didn't end back at the gingerbread house, and we'll learn about what happened later in late January, unless the film "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" is delayed yet again. On Monday, Paramount Pictures revealed a red band trailer for the movie.

The movie was originally scheduled to be released on March 2, 2012 before being pushed back 10 months to Jan. 11, 2013. However, earlier this month it was announced that the film would be delayed yet again, to Jan. 25, 2013.

The story is based some 15 years after the events in the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Here's how the plot is described by Wikipedia:
Catching up with Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) 15 years after the traumatic incident involving a gingerbread house, the siblings have evolved into vengeful bounty hunters dedicated to exterminating witches. Over the years, the siblings became expert hunters, famous for their proficiency at tracking and taking down their prey. Although still recovering from their ordeal, their work is relatively easy as for an unknown reason harmful spells and curses do not work well against them.

The Mayor of Augsburg recruits them to rid the town and nearby forests of an evil sorceress (Famke Janssen) who is planning to sacrifice many local children at the witches' gathering during the upcoming "Blood Moon" night in two days time. To make things worse, the duo also has to deal with the brutal Sheriff Berringer (Peter Stormare) who has taken power in Augsburg and conducts a very indiscriminate witch-hunt of his own.
A red band trailer, for those unaware, is a trailer that is approved only for "restricted" or "mature" audiences. These sorts of trailers can only be shown before R-rated, NC-17-rated, or unrated movies. They may include nudity, profanity or other material deemed inappropriate for children.

The "red band" referred to by the term indicates that an all-red graphic will be played before the trailer begins. As you might expect, a green band trailer is approved for all audiences, and has a green band displayed before the trailer begins.

These are the sorts of "banded trailers" that you will normally see in front of most movies.

"Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" is considered an action comedy horror film. The film is produced by Will Ferrell (yes, that Will Ferrell), Chris Henchy, Adam McKay, and Kevin J. Messick, and directed by Tommy Wirkola, who co-scripted the movie with D. W. Harper.

We saw a trailer in early September. The red band trailer is embedded.

Joss Whedon 'endorses' Romney for those who want a 'Zomney' apocalypse

"The Avengers" Joss Whedon can't predict the future like a Marvel Comics super-hero might, but he can predict the future of America if GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is elected. At least, that's the message coming from a YouTube video (embedded) that Whedon posted on Sunday.

Whether thinking about the "28 Days Later" style of zombie or the shambling, slow, "Walking Dead" type of zombie, Whedon's parody endorsement of Romney highlights Romney as Zomney. Whedon says,
Like a lot of liberal Americans, I was excited when Barack Obama took office four years ago. But it's a very different world now, and Mitt Romney is a very different candidate, one with the vision and determination to cut through business-as-usual politics and finally put this country back on the path to the zombie apocalypse.

Romney's ready to make the deep rollbacks in health care, education, social services, reproductive rights that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting ... all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland.

But it's his commitment to ungoverned corporate privilege that will nosedive this economy into true insolvancy and chaos, the kind of chaos you can't buy back. Money is only so much paper to the undead. The One Percent will no longer be the very rich, it'll be the very fast.

Anyone can run, fight, make explosives out of household objects or especially do parkour of any kind ... you'll want to stick with them, unless they read Ayn Rand. [...]

Whether you’re a small business man just trying to keep his doors open; a single mom so concerned with her son’s welfare that she’ll run to embrace him when he’s clearly infected and going to bite her, or a strung out ex-military type who’s been out there too long and is taking the same kind of damn fool chances that’ll get us all killed, you need ask yourself, "Am I ready ... for the purity and courage of Mitt Romney’s apocalyptic vision?"

Mitt’s ready. He’s not afraid to face a ravening, grasping horde of subhumans, because that’s how he sees poor people already. Let’s all embrace the future, stop pretending we care about each other and start hoarding canned goods, because if Mitt takes office, sooner or later, the zombies will come for all of us.
The campaign has a nifty new campaign poster, as shown above. It shows a zombie Romney, or a Zomney. The tagline, of course, is priceless: Zomney ... he needs brains.

The ad seems more anti-Romney than pro-Obama. However, tucked away in the video is the message: "Please visit http://www.barackobama.com/ to support the candidate who won't bring about the zombie apocalypse."

Hulk Hogan settles sex tape lawsuit against Bubba the Love Sponge

On Oct. 15, Hulk Hogan filed a civil lawsuit against former BFF Bubba the Love Sponge over the leaked sex tape involving Hogan and Bubba's ex-wife, Heather Clem. Two weeks later, a report says that Hogan has settled the lawsuit, but his lawsuits against Heather and Gawker Media will continue.

Financial terms of the settlement were not released, but Bubba (nee Todd Alan Clem) released an apology letter on Monday. Bubba had previously intimated that Hulk Hogan may have released the tape himself, but the letter retracted that earlier on-air comment.
It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.
In addition, Bubba the Love Sponge said that he is "committed to helping Hulk and his attorneys find whoever is responsible for the release of the tape."

Bubba the Love Sponge also apologized on-air on his radio show.

David Houston, one of Hogan's attorneys, said the following in a news release:
Mr. Bollea (Hogan's real name is Terry Bollea) is pleased that Mr. Clem finally stated the truth and apologized for his false statements.
One lawsuit is down, but others remain. The report said that Hogan is continuing to move forward with his $100 million lawsuit against Gawker Media for publishing the tape, and his separate lawsuit against his sex tape co-star, Heather Clem.

ID of photographer of topless Kate Middleton pictures leaked to authorities

The plot thickens. The name of the photographer that took the pictures of a topless Kate Middleton has been tipped to authorities, according to a report on Sunday.

Ready for a mobile phone upgrade?
While still not public, the information should advance the case. The authorities had been seeking the identity of the snapper since Prince William lodged a criminal complaint in Paris. It is believed up to 200 shots were taken of the Duchess of Cambridge, and that the photographer was a male.

According to the Mirror's report, if found guilty of taking the pictures of Middleton on the balcony of a holiday chateau in Provence, France, the photographer could face up to one year in jail as well as a fine of £36,000 (about $58,000 in U.S. dollars at current exchange rates) for breach of privacy.

A source told the Mirror:
William and Kate are determined to bring the person who took those photos to justice and they’re pushing hard for a custodial sentence. They want to make an example of this person.
In September, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 30, were angered when images of Kate topless were published in the French gossip magazine, Closer.

She and Prince William had been staying a week earlier at the Chateau d’Autet, which is owned by the Queen’s nephew, Lord Linley, when photos were taken with the aid of a telephoto lens.

While Closer editor Laurence Pieau confirmed that the magazine hired a freelance photographer to watch the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their stay, Closer has remained steadfast and refused to reveal his name. French law gives Closer magazine the right to do so.

Although Pieau came under heavy criticism for her decision to publish the images, at the time, she said:
What we saw in the pictures was a young couple who are just married, who are in love, who are beautiful, she is the princess of the 21st century. She’s a young woman who’s topless, just like the ones who can be seen on all of the beaches of France and the world. These pictures are full of joy, not degrading.
A statement from Pieau can also be seen, embedded.

Images of Kutcher and Kunis out and about raise rumors of Mila Kunis pregnancy

:Have you ever made the mistake of asking a friend if she was pregnant, only to be told no? That's embarrassing, so RadarOnline.com surely has to be hoping it's not making a mistake here.

On the other hand, it's a site, not a person, so it probably doesn't care. On Sunday, the site posted a slideshow of images that show the relatively new Kutcher - Kunis couple out together, and the images are not flattering to Mila Kunis. At least, they aren't flattering unless the actress is showing a baby bump.

Certainly, they are not as flattering as the images that were on display when she was named Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive" for 2012.

Those images raised speculation that the couple, who only came out as a romantic pair about two months ago, were expecting. Although they have only officially been dating for a couple of months, they have a "long-standing" relationship from their time as co-stars on the series "That 70's Show."

Rumors began flying shortly after Kutcher, 34, split from his ex-wife Demi Moore, 49, in November 2011. Kunis is 29, and in addition to being the "Sexiest Woman Alive," is well-known for her TV and movie roles, including the aforementioned "That 70's Show," "Family Guy," "Black Swan," and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

Meet Woodbury and the Governor, as 'The Walking Dead' leaves the prison

"The Walking Dead" is about to leave the "safe" walls of "The Prison," where Rick and group have managed to hole up in the first two episodes of season three, and take us to this season's other locale: Woodbury.

Episode three will focus not on the main group, which includes Rick, Daryl, Lori, Carol, T-Dog, Maggie, Carl, Beth and Hershel, but on the splinter group, Andrea and her savior, Michonne. It will also show us, for the first time, Woodbury and the Governor, who is infamous for his actions in the comics (possible spoilers ahead). The Hollywood Reporter took time on Friday to speak to Laurie Holden (Andrea), Danai Gurira (Michoone) and David Morrisey (the Governor).

Somehow, the Governor has managed to turn Woodbury into a semblance of the life that humans used to have before the zombie outbreak. Michonne and Andrea meet the Governor after following a downed helicopter and eventually end up in Woodbury.

Some previews have shown that Andrea and Michonne aren't being held against their will in Woodbury, but there is also a sense that all is not well in the community. Michonne, in particular, is suspicious. Gurira said,
Michonne can't ignore her instincts; she's not happy with the world she's in, what she's hearing, what her instincts are saying about the Governor from the get-go -- it's not sitting right with her. There are clues and she's picking them up every second; she'd rather be in the jungle than be in the Ritz. She doesn't care about where she is, she cares about what the truth of the situation is. For her, it's very jarring and it triggers her.
We've already seen in episode one that Andrea is sick. It's not related to the zombie virus, but she is ill, and Woodbury offers welcome hope. Holden, who plays Andrea, said:
She's terribly dehydrated and very sick. Michonne is her caretaker and she's on her last limb and there's no medicine.

It (Woodbury) appears to be nirvana, a land of hope and opportunity. It's the only place that Andrea has ever encountered that resembles the old world. It's a dream and Andrea is desperate for a home, for a community. She's been deathly ill on the road and it's a safe haven.
The Governor, on the other hand, sees a possible kindred spirit in Andrea. Morrisey said:
Andrea is a woman who's very vulnerable when he meets her and he can see that she's strong and tough and he's not frightened of strong and tough people; he's very drawn to that and he wants to be surrounded by that. He sees that as the strength of them as a community going forward. Not just strong physically but mentally -- he likes intelligence and likes people to be surrounded by people with good ideas. Michonne and Andrea he sees as a great addition to the community.
Holden added,
We're really like magnets and very attracted to one another in the sense that we see what we believe to be a kindred spirit, but of course we all know that what you see on the surface isn't always the truth. She is in awe of the fact that this man built this town and saved all these people and that he's so eloquent and has a kindness and a self-assurance and she feels safe for the first time in her life since this all went down.

It's a dream, a salvation. But you know the expression: if it's too good to be true it is? That's Woodbury.
In the comics, the Governor plays a pivotal role in the deaths of some key characters (though the series has diverged from the comics in storyline already).  His actions change the lives of the survivors, as this season transitions to less of humans vs. zombies and more of humans vs. humans.

Season three of "The Walking Dead" consists of 16 episodes, split into two parts, just as season two was.

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, "The Walking Dead" stars Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, IronE Singleton, Melissa McBride, David Morrissey and Danai Gurira.

"The Walking Dead" is executive produced by Glen Mazzara, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert with Greg Nicotero as co-executive producer. The show airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

Bill Maher: Electing Romney would essentially 'elect every right-wing nut he’s pandered to'

On Friday's "New Rules" segment on his HBO show "Real Time," host Bill Maher reminded potential voters that "a compulsive liar whose whole life is secret can get you a lot worse disease than Romneysia."

Maher was, of course, speaking of GOP candidate Mitt Romney, who has been accused of flip-flopping on every issue and saying whatever it would take in order to get elected, even if it goes against something he had previously said.

The segment can be viewed, embedded below.

Maher continued. He said,
Now, when I talk about getting into bed with Mitt Romney, obviously I don’t mean literally. Please, Mitt Romney doesn't even know what a blow job is. He thinks it's something the Pep Boys do to clean out your carburetor. [He does, however, know what polygamy and racism are, key tenets of Mormonism in the past.]

No, what I’m trying to do is make an analogy to that old public service announcement about how when you go to bed with one person, you’re not just going to bed with them, you’re — well it’s like that with Mitt. When you elect Mitt, you’re not just electing him, you’re electing every right-wing nut he’s pandered to in the last ten years.

If the Mitt-mobile does roll into Washington, it will be towing behind it the whole anti-intellectual anti-science freak show. The abstinence obsessives, the flat earthers, home schoolers, the holy warriors, the anti-women social neanderthals, the closeted homosexuals, and every endtimer who sees the Virgin Mary in the grass over the septic tank.

Now, I understand having issues with Obama, but stop to think of all the crap we haven’t had to deal with in the last four years. Anybody remember Terri Schiavo? Obama isn’t perfect, but he never turned the entire federal government into a Jesus freak episode of House. And he doesn’t have an attorney general like John Ashcroft, who once covered up a statue at the Justice Department because it was showing too much tit, like it was Janet Jackson.

I’m just saying, last four years, no crisis about boobies. No controversies about whether stems cells are actually tiny people. No Defense of Marriage Act, no Office of Faith Based Initiatives, no peddling creationism at the national parks. Did you know that before Obama got in the Smithsonian couldn’t mention global warming as a possible reason the glaciers were shrinking? Because heat melting ice was just a theory. Yes, that was our daily diet of turd under the last business minded sensible moderate. And before you say, that was then, this is now, sitting in Congress right now we’ve got a fresh can of nuts just waiting to get cracked open.
It doesn't take much to realize who - or what - Maher is speaking of.

He was speaking of Rep. Paul Broun, who said that evolution, embryology, and the Big Bang Theory are lies from the pit of hell (and who happens to be on the House Science Committee.

He was speaking of Rep. Todd Akin who spoke of "legitimate rape" and how a woman's body can reject the sperm of a rapist, because it knows the difference.

He was speaking of Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock who said "God intended" pregnancies that result from rape.

He was speaking of people like Rep. Michelle Bachmann, who wants wives to be submissive to their husbands ("the Lord says, 'Be submissive wives; you are to be submissive to your husbands.'").

Second TV spot for 'The Hobbit' shows viewers - for the first time - the discovery of the 'One Ring'

A second TV spot from the first movie in the "Hobbit" series, the upcoming "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" came online on Friday. It can be viewed in the video player embedded below.

At 30 seconds long, the TV spot doesn't reveal much that hasn't been seen before, but it does show viewers something not seen previously: the discovery of the One Ring by Bilbo Baggins, protagonist of the trilogy.

The discovery of the One Ring in the J.R.R. Tolkien novel, "The Hobbit," sets up the events in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

The first film in the "Hobbit" trilogy, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," is scheduled to release on Dec. 14, 2012. The film has been shot in 3D 48 frames-per-second (fps). The trilogy of films will be released in High Frame Rate (HFR) 3D (limited theaters), other 3D formats, IMAX and 2D.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" will be released one year later, on Dec. 13, 2013. The final film, "The Hobbit: There and Back Again," will be released on July 18, 2014.

Starring in the film, some reprising their roles from "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, and some as new characters, are Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Evangeline Lilly, Andy Serkis, Richard Armitage, John Bell, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Luke Evans, Stephen Fry, Ryan Gage, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, Barry Humphries, Stephen Hunter, William Kircher, Sylvester McCoy, Bret McKenzie, Graham McTavish, Mike Mizrahi, James Nesbitt, Dean O'Gorman, Lee Pace, Mikael Persbrandt, Conan Stevens, Ken Stott, Jeffrey Thomas, Aidan Turner and Billy Connolly.

All three films in the trilogy are productions of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, with New Line managing production. The films are being distributed worldwide by Warner Bros., with select international territories as well as all international television licensing being handled by MGM.

Lil Wayne's seizures may damage his lawsuit against 'The Carter' producers

With Lil Wayne reportedly suffering two seizures, it's possible his lawsuit may be delayed, or even more.

That said, Wayne has been reported to have experienced not one, but two seizures on Thursday. He had been scheduled to testify on Friday, but as a result of his hospitalization, the testimony was delayed. However, sources have told TMZ that it is "unlikely" Wayne will be able to testify on Monday either. In fact, sources added, there is a "real chance" he will be unable to appear in court for a significant period of time.

It's unclear if the judge in the case will grant a continuance as the case is being heard before a jury, and an extended delay will disrupt the lives of the jurors. If the judge decides against that, the two options that remain are a mistrial or the case continuing with Wayne's testimony, which could damage Wayne's side of case.

Reports on Lil Wayne's health issues are all over the map, though. On Friday a represenative for Lil Wayne issued a statement to MTV News which said the rapper simply suffered a severe migraine and dehydration on a private plane (which was forced to make an emergency landing). However, later in the day TMZ reported that he suffered a second seizure in Louisiana.

Wayne representatives continue to tell MTV News that the reports have been blown out of proportion. They continue to state that that the rapper is at home on bed rest after a migraine.

TMZ's reports continue to be much more dire, and the latest is that Wayne's lawyers are scheduled to inform the judge of Wayne's health status on Monday morning.

Justin Timberlake issues open letter of apology for 'homeless person video'

Justin Timberlake has posted a open letter of apology about the joke video allegedly shown at his wedding to Jessica Biel. The letter was first posted on his official website on Friday.

The joke video, showing homeless people wishing Biel and Timberlake wedding well wishes, was hammered for its insensitivity and tastelessness. TMZ managed to track down one of the homeless people in the video; he said he was paid $40 and was upset by the footage's use.

On Friday, Timberlake addressed the incident himself. The full letter is available here. Among the highlights of the letter were:
I'd like to start off by saying that I don't live my life making fun of people (unless, of course, I'm making fun of myself on SNL)... Especially, those who are less fortunate or those in need. [...]

1. I had no knowledge of its existence. I had absolutely ZERO contribution to it.

2. My friends are good people. This was clearly a lapse in judgment which I'm sure no one who is reading this is exempt from. But, I don't believe it was made to be insensitive. More so, I think it was made as a joke on me not having that many friends attending my own wedding(which IS kind of funny if you think about it).

3. Like many silly rumors that I have been made aware of about the week: It was NOT shown at my wedding.

4. I think we can all agree that it was distasteful, even though that was not it's intention. Once again, in the world that we live in where everyone thinks that they know everything, I want to be very clear... I am NOT defending the video. I agree with the overall consensus. But, to use another "pants" analogy... It seems that these days, misconception gets around the world before the actual truth even wakes up and gets it's pants on. [...]

I am deeply sorry to anyone who was offended by the video.
Finally, in a postscript, Timberlake said that those of his friends who were directly involved with the video would be doing community service (though we doubt it).
P.S. You can bet your ass that I'm having my friend do at least 100 hours of community service... Boom.
This will probably lay the issue to rest. It's sad to see a memorable event such as a wedding turned into a contentious issue over someone's thoughtlessness.

We expect that people will think twice or even three times before doing anything similar in the future.

Katy Perry wears her vote on her body at free Obama concert

Singer Katy Perry unveiled her vote in the 2012 Presidential Election on Wednesday, and on her body, no less. Singing at a free concert at a park in what is a historically minority neighborhood just northwest of downtown Las Vegas, Perry wore her vote on her sleeve, showing off her form in a tight white dress emblazoned with a ballot, the square box on her right hip filled with the names of U.S. President Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

The concert / rally drew more than 13,000 fans, as the singer performed "Let's Stay Together," "Part of Me," "Teenage Dream," "Wide Awake" and "Firework" at about the same time that Air Force One touched down at McCarran International Airport across town, around 9 p.m.

Obama's Las Vegas speech was similar to the ones he delivered earlier in Davenport and Denver, but with a major exception, provided by Perry, or rather, by her family. Katy Perry's 91-year-old grandmother was on hand and gave the president a kiss on the cheek, leaving a lipstick mark on his face, that ObamaHe joked that he had to wipe off before FLOTUS Michelle Obama got a look at it.

Obama later said to the crowd, "I believe in you. I need you to keep believing in me."

Perry recently also sang at a free concert at an Obama event in Los Angeles. Prior to her last song on Wednesday, she encourages people in the Las Vegas crowd to vote early. Perry said,

"Don't wait. Go tomorrow. How many of you are 18 here? It's going to be your first time, right?"

Actor Jack Scalia arrested at LAX after handgun found in carry-on luggage

Jack Scalia (the actor, not the similarly named Antonin, the Supreme Court justice) was arrested in Terminal 7 of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Thursday afternoon, when security screeners discovered an unloaded handgun in his carry-on bag.

It is hard to understand why anyone would do this, although some celebrities feel that they are above the law. It's unclear why Scalia did this.

The 61-year-old Scalia had recurring roles on "All My Children," "Remington Steele" and "Dallas" (the original "Dallas," not the current remake).

Born Giacomo Tomaso Tedesco in Brooklyn, New York of Italian and Irish descent, after his parents' divorce and his mother's second marriage, his surname was changed to Scalia.

He nearly became a sports star, rather than a TV star. He was drafted third by the Montreal Expos in 1971 as a pitcher. However, after an injury, Scalia never played in the Major Leagues.

Scalia was a regular cast member during the final season of "Remington Steele" (1987). Later, he joined the cast of "Dallas" as a love interest for Sue Ellen Ewing (Linda Gray). His character, Nicholas Pearce, was killed at the end of the 1987-88 season when he was pushed off of a balcony during a fight with J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman).

In the series finale, he returned in a dream sequence in which he was married to Sue Ellen.

Scalia is perhaps best known for his role as Chris Stamp (2001-2003) on the daytime soap opera "All My Children."

An aged Schwarzenegger to portray an aged Conan in 'The Legend of Conan'

Think Arnold Schwarzenegger is too old for action films? Obviously Arnold and studios don't think so. The Austrian Oak will return to one of his earliest roles, Conan, in "The Legend of Conan."

Reportedly, "The Legend of Conan" will pretend the events of "Conan the Destroyer" never occurred. In addition, you can forget any reference to the most recent reboot of the franchise, 2011's "Conan the Barbarian," which starred Jason Momoa of "Game of Thrones."

Fredrik Malmberg, the CEO of Paradox Entertainment, which holds the rights to Conan, said:
The original ended with Arnold on the throne as a seasoned warrior, and this is the take of the film we will make. It’s that Nordic Viking mythic guy who has played the role of king, warrior, soldier and mercenary, and who has bedded more women than anyone, nearing the last cycle of his life. He knows he’ll be going to Valhalla, and wants to go out with a good battle.
The film will come to viewers via Universal Pictures, and will be produced by Malmberg and Chris Morgan. Morgan is a Universal writer and producer whose credits include "47 Ronin," "Wanted," and the last four "Fast and the Furious" films.

Morgan has come up with an idea for the story, and the report said he might pen the script. Universal wants "The Legend of Conan" for summer 2014, and that might conflict with Morgan's scribe work on the seventh Fast and Furious film. In terms of the idea, Morgan said:
After the original seminal movie, all that came after looked silly to me. Robert E. Howard’s mythology and some great philosophy from Nietzsche to Atilla the Hun was layered in the original film. People say, he didn’t speak for the first 20 minutes of the film, but that was calculated in depicting this man who takes control of life with his own hand.

This movie picks up Conan where Arnold is now in his life, and we will be able to use the fact that he has aged in this story. I love the property of Conan so much that I wouldn’t touch it unless we came up with something worthy. We think this is a worthy successor to the original film. Think of this as Conan’s "Unforgiven."
Arnold Schwarzenegger can next be seen in "The Last Stand," which is set for release on Jan. 18, 2013.

20-year-old woman auctions virginity for $780,000; man goes for $3,000

Two students, one Brazilian and female, and one Australian and male, have auctioned off their virginity as part of a documentary, "Virgins Wanted," produced by Australian filmmaker Jason Sisely. As you might expect, one of the pair received a much higher bid than the other; can you guess which one?

The woman, a Brazilian student, Catarina Migliorini, 20, sold her virginity in an online auction for $780,000. The news was announced on the film's site on Thursday. She plans donate up to 90 percent of that auction price to charities that will build homes in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina.

The website announced that the winner of the auction was a Japanese man identified only as "Natsu." The runner-up was Jack Miller of the U.S., who bid $740,000.

Sisely said:
The auction closed last night and Catarina is extremely excited. She was speaking to her family in Brazil online and they were extremely happy for her, but I guess they didn’t expect her to do something like this.

We will fly over the winner to Australia and obviously, for the sake of the film and privacy, we can’t disclose where and when the act will take place. I have to leave some details for the documentary.
In addition, Sisely said, Natsu must use a condom also must be tested prior to the "event" for any sexually transmitted diseases.

Migliorini previously told the Daily Mail: “I saw this as a business. I have the opportunity to travel, to be part of a movie and get a bonus with it. If you only do it once in your life then you are not a prostitute, just like if you take one amazing photograph it does not automatically make you a photographer.”

Australian student Alex Stepanov, whose virginity was also auctioned, was won for $3,000 by an Australian named Nene B.

Homeless man, 'Eddie,' claims was paid $40 to appear in Timberlake - Biel joke video

A video "gag" reel shown at the wedding of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel has drawn a lot of attention, and now, we've even been able to talk to one of the victims of the sad prank, who said he had no idea he was being ridiculed.

The video, obtained by Gawker with excerpts posted to its site on Wednesday, showed a number of homeless people wishing Timberlake and Biel well on their nuptials.  The video is embedded below.

"Eddie," one of the homeless men in the video, told TMZ that he was paid $40 to appear in the video, and that he had no idea he was the butt of someone else's joke. His statement is embedded.

"Eddie" said he was approached by an unnamed man who offered him money in exchange for saying a few pre-written lines into a camera. The cameraman told him the video was being made for a "friend's wedding," though it's unclear that the cameraman himself is friends with Justin and Jessica.

Meanwhile, Eddie had no idea it was for Timberlake and Jessica Biel. When he was told how the footage was used, Eddiesaid, "That makes me feel real bad ... that was a trick played on me."

For those wondering about the veracity of the report because of Eddie's relatively fine dress, he was reportedly dressed nicely in the video because he was out looking for a job when it was recorded, on Wednesday.

'Wreck-It Ralph' featurette delves into the characters' personalities, relationships

On Thursday, Walt Disney Pictures released a featurette on its upcoming animated feature, "Wreck-It Ralph." The 3D animated film reaches theaters in slightly more than a week.

Starring John C. Reilly as "Wreck-It Ralph," a video game villain, the movie follows the title character's quest to become a hero. Also starring in the film are Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer. Notably, Ralph is a character from the 8-bit world of video games (think classic Donkey Kong).

The film is described as follows:
Wreck-It Ralph is the villain of the arcade video game Fix-It Felix Jr. (Jack McBrayer), in which the game's eponymous hero fixes a building that Ralph destroys. For over 30 years, Ralph has been doing the same job and has become tired of being the villain. Wanting to prove he can be a hero and not just a villain, Ralph escapes his game through a power cord and lands in Hero's Duty, a light-gun shooter game where he helps the game's hero, Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch), battle against "Cy-Bugs" (the game's alien invaders).

He later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set on tracks made of candies, cookies and other sweets. There, Ralph meets one of the game's characters, Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), who has learned that her game is faced with a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph may have inadvertently started
In the featurette, the actors explain the heart and soul of the characters they portray.

John C. Reilly describes Ralph as "having all the foibles of a real person, even though he's a video game character." Sergeant Calhoun is high-definition, and complimented on it, but as she says "flattery don't charge these batteries, civilian." Vanellope and Ralph are forced to work together, but despite disliking each other at first, they realize "they're not so different after all."

Those who remember the old-time classic video games will recognize characters from them, even ones that are not as embedded in a gamer's lexicon as Pac-man (we see a Pac-man ghost in the clip).

Included in that are Q-bert, for example.

Directed by Rich Moore, produced by Clark Spencer, with screenplay by Jennifer Lee and Phil Johnston, "Wreck-It Ralph" has its world premiere on Oct. 29 and reaches U.S. theaters on Nov. 2.

In response to Trump's Obama challenge, Colbert challenges Trump to tea bag him for a $1 million donation

On Wednesday night, Stephen Colbert of "The Colbert Report" took on Donald Trump's challenge to U.S. President Barack Obama. Earlier on Wednesday, Trump announced what he said was something that could change the face of the election.

Trump's big news, of course, was not an announcement, but a challenge. He challenged Obama in the following way:
If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications ... and if he gives his passport applications and records ... I will give to a charity of his choice - Inner City Children of Chicago, American Cancer Society, AIDS Research - a check immediately for 5 million dollars.
Trump, of course, is buying into rumors that Obama’s transcripts will show that he was a poor student who benefited from affirmative action. Of course, the fact that he was the president of the Harvard Law Review would seem to belie that.

Meanwhile, the request for Obama’s passport stems from a conspiracy theory that he used a non-American passport to travel to Pakistan in 1981, something that Snopes has debunked.

The deadline Trump gave was 5:00 p.m. on October 31. Colbert commented on the deadline, saying:
That’s right. He (Trump) has to have it by five o’clock on Halloween, because that night he’s renting out his enormous orange head as a jack-o’-lantern.
In response, Colbert issued his own challenge to Trump.
Nation, I am so moved by this generous offer, that I have an offer of my own, right over here. Mr. Trump, I will write you a check for $1 million from Colbert super PAC - you know I’ve got it - to the charity of your choice, anything, save the children, feed the children, put the children on "Child Apprentice," whatever. One million actual dollars if you will let me dip my balls in your mouth.

But, but, but, this dipping - and I hope you're listening very carefully, Mr. Trump - this dipping has to be to my, and more important, my balls' satisfaction. One caveat, my balls must be in your mouth no later than 5:00 p.m. Oct. 31. My balls have a thing that night.

Nothing would make me happier than to write this check. And nothing would make America happier than to have something going into your mouth instead of coming out of it.

For those not "getting" the humor, dipping a man's balls into another person's mouth is called "tea bagging." Since the Tea Partiers have alternatively been called Tea Baggers - well, you get the drift, since Trump is a Tea Party member.

Ming-Na signs on to 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series

Ming-Na (AKA Ming-Na Wen, "ER") has been signed as one of the leads for the upcoming ABC pilot for Josh Whedon's "Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D." spin-off from the blockbuster 2012 movie, "The Avengers."

Earlier, it was reported that Clark Gregg would be reprising his role as Agent Phil Coulson. He played that role in "Iron Man," "Iron Man 2," Thor and "The Avengers," as well as the Marvel One-Shots "The Consultant" and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer."

The one stumbling block to that is that Coulson was killed in "The Avengers." It is, of course, a comic book truism that no character is ever truly dead, and it's possible that "S.H.I.E.L.D." will be in the past, or that Coulson will appear in flashbacks. We'd guess that he's just "not dead."

Ming-Na will play Agent Melinda May. The report calls May "soulful and slightly damaged by her combat experiences," but an agent who is an expert pilot, a weapons expert and a soldier who has gone beyond the call of duty.

The Melinda May character was originally listed on the pilot’s casting breakdown as Agent Althea Rice, aka The Cavalry. "Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D." is being executive produced by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb. Joss Whedon is directing the pilot and will also co-write the script with his brother Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.

Red band 'Evil Dead' trailer definitely NSFW, deserves red band for blood

As promised, the trailer for the remake of the "Evil Dead" was released on Wednesday, and also as promised, it was a red band trailer. By that, we mean it falls into the NSFW category, but red could also mean blood red, as this is a gore-fest.

The trailer, which you can (or maybe shouldn't, if you have a weak stomach) watch embedded below, premiered at New York Comic Con earlier this month. At the time, on the "Evil Dead" panel, star Jane Levy said "I haven't seen that yet. That scared the sh*t out of me."

IMDB has two blurbs on the film.
Mia, a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror.
and ...
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
The similarities to the original film begin - and end - with having five young people finding a book in a cabin. The book is the Book of the Dead, and by reading a passage from the book, they unleash something evil.

This isn't for the squeamish, and toward the end you'll get to see what Levy called "tree rape" at the NYCC.

"Evil Dead" is set to open in theaters on April 12, 2013.

Donald Trump announces challenge to Obama: Release college records and Trump will donate $5M to charity

Donald Trump said he was going to reveal something on Wednesday about Barack Obama that would blow the election apart. In reality, his YouTube video which announced his revelation was less a revelation and more of an offer.

The video, embedded below, offers to donate $5 million to a charity of Obama's choice, if Obama releases his college records and applications and passport records and applications. For those wondering if Obama could promise to release these after the election, Trump has set a deadline: Oct. 31, 5 p.m.

The press release is available here. Trump said:
If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications ... and if he gives his passport applications and records ... I will give to a charity of his choice - Inner City Children of Chicago, American Cancer Society, AIDS Research - a check immediately for 5 million dollars.

The check will be given within one hour after he releases all of the records ... he'll be doing a great service for the country if he does this.

If he releases these records, it will end the question and indeed the anger of many Americans ... they'll know something about their president ... their President will become transparent ... like other Presidents."
This is not an announcement, but a challenge. It's interesting that Trump is going down a one-way street with this. Why not make the same offer to Mitt Romney with regard to his tax returns? Romney has released only two years of tax returns, something he's been soundly criticized for.

Trump and other conservatives believe that Obama’s transcripts will show that he was a poor student who benefited from affirmative action. Of course, the fact that he was the president of the Harvard Law Review would seem to belie that.

Meanwhile, the request for Obama’s passport stems from a conspiracy theory that he used a non-American passport to travel to Pakistan in 1981, something that Snopes has debunked.

Interestingly enough, Trump - long a birther - made the following comment about Obama's long-form birth certificate, which he released earlier: "or whatever it was that he released."

Mitt Romney accused of perjury in Staple's CEO's divorce case

There were rumblings on Tuesday about Mitt Romney and something that high-profile attorney Gloria Allred was involved with, and on Wednesday the details exploded onto the Internet. These are, of course, just allegations and unconfirmed at this time.

TMZ dishes on the claims of the ex-wife of Staples' founder Tom Stemberg. Mitt Romney is said to have lied under oath during testimony during Stemberg's contentious divorce with his now ex-wife Maureen. According to multiple sources speaking to the site, the GOP presidential candidate reportedly gave a deposition and also testified during the trial. He claimed that Staples - yes, the office giant Staples - was worth virtually nothing, and that Tom Stemberg was a dreamer and "the dream continues."

Romney called Staples stock "overvalued," adding, "I didn't place a great deal of credibility in the forecast of the company's future." Interestingly enough, in September reports arose stating that Bain Capital was considering buying Staples, taking it private. Bain Capital helped to launch Staples, which at the time of this writing on Wednesday was sitting at $11.30, -$0.01‎ (-0.08 percent).

Romney, of course, was one of the co-founders of Bain.  According to Wikipedia,  he continues to "receive a passive profit share as a retired partner in some Bain Capital entities, including buyout and investment funds."  In addition, Romney sat on the Staples board of directors for more than a decade.

The Boston Globe has asked a judge to unseal the Stemberg divorce documents, including Romney's testimony. A hearing in the matter has been continued until Thursday morning.

Gloria Allred has been seen in in court in Boston on Wednesday. She represents Maureen Stemberg.

Tom Stemberg has been a strong supporter of Mitt Romney. He even spoke for several minutes at the 2012 Republican National Convention (embedded).

'Evil Dead' teaser released ahead of Wednesday's full trailer

A teaser for the "Evil Dead" remake trailer, which debuts on Wednesday, was released on Tuesday. The teaser trailer shows only a few peeks at the "Evil Dead" film directed by Fede Alvarez and starring Jane Levy, but also offers clips of the "Evil Dead" panel at the recent New York Comic Con.

The similarities to the original film begin with having five young people find a book in a cabin, but end there. There is no Ash character (Bruce Cambpell), either.

In the teaser, you can see Levy say "I swear to God, I'm so scared right now. I'm not kidding; that just freaked me out." You'll also see Bruce Campbell, from the original "Evil Dead" series, saying "We know what you need. You need horror with blood flowing down the screen. We know you need it."

Fede Alvarez is directing from a screenplay by himself, Diablo Cody, Sam Raimi, and Rodo Sayagues Mendez. The film stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Elizabeth Blackmore.

Justin Bieber sued for using Selena's 'dad's' credit card for penis enlargement

Did Justin Bieber need a penis enlargement? While no one has asked his girlfriend Selena Gomez, someone purporting to be the actress / singer's father has filed a lawsuit which was reported on Tuesday.

The lawsuit, labeled crazy by TMZ, certainly sounds ludicrous. It goes further than alleging Bieber used a stolen credit card for penile enhancement, also claiming that Bieber is cheating on his girlfriend with Rihanna, Ke$ha, and even Penelope Cruz.

Among the claims (numerous name and other mistakes, by the way):

"Bieber has cost me $426.78 and never paid me back. This money was used as abortion money because Justin Bieber got my daughter Selena pregnant in my bedroom, on my canadian bear rug."

"[Bieber] gave selena a std and Bieber stole my credit card to buy him and sean p-ditty combs cocaine to use in drug free school zones."

"Bieber also got a penis enlargement with my stolen american express card. "

Let's not forget Usher, who apparently is has wronged Selena's father, too.

"Usher Raymond came to my house on the forth of july 2012 and sodomized me with a firework and lit it inside my anal area while blaring kate perry firework song in my ear drums."

The conclusion to the suit makes it sound like Selena's "dad" doesn't like Bieber music, either: "I'm an emotional mess ... America must boycott biebers music!"

First official 'Iron Man 3' trailer shows Tony Stark heading for a fall

As promised, the first official full "Iron Man 3" trailer was released on Tuesday. This film appears darker than the prior two, and implies viewers will see a "Dark Knight" style fall for Tony Stark and his Iron Man alter-ego.

The two-minute long trailer (embedded) shows a battered Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) falling into the snow, with Stark then removing his mask to show a bloodied face.

Then, in voiceover, we hear Stark say, “Nothing’s been the same since New York. I can’t sleep, and when I do, I have nightmares.”

Presumably, Stark is referring to the events of this year's blockbuster hit, “The Avengers,” in which Thor's arch-villain Loki led the Chitauri alien race in an attempt to conquer Earth.

Stark continues, "Honestly, there’s a hundred people who’d want to kill me. I hope I can protect the one thing I can’t live without," referring to Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).

We then see Stark's Iron Man suits exploding along the wall, and Rhodey in a new star-spangled War Machine suit, as we hear the Mandarin's (Ben Kingsley) voice-over: “Ladies, children, sheep. Some people call me a terrorist. I consider myself a teacher. Lesson No. 1: Heroes. There is no such thing.”

As the voice-over continues, we see the Mandarin’s helicopters launch missiles at Stark’s seaside home, which crumbles and explodes. We also see scenes of Iron Man saving people falling from an airplane, Tony Stark lying in a hospital room, surrounded by doctors, Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) lying among rubble, and Pepper Potts held in some type of metal restraints.

The trailer ends with Stark dragging his Iron Man suit behind in in the snow.

"Iron Man 3" is directed by Shane Black, and stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley.  The film will hit U.K. theaters on April 26, 2013, and U.S. theaters on May 3, 2013.
