Face it: Naomi Campbell's tussles with co-hosts on 'The Face' not unexpected

Face it: Naomi Campbell isn't know as being the easiest to work with. Thus, reports on Saturday of unrest at the new reality show, "The Face," should surprise no one.

The only one who is not arguing is the only one who is or wasn't a female super-model. Nigel Barker has been left to be a mediator as the three coaches feud with each other.

A source said,
Nigel is the only one who gets along with everyone. He’s been left as the host and the referee. You’ve got three models, all at different stages of their careers and different ages, and they are really not getting along. It’s a competition show, and none of them are used to losing.
"The Face" is a reality TV show where three super-model coaches (Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha, and Karolina Kurkova) choose teams from among aspiring young models worldwide. The coaches then guide their teams through various assignments, teaching them the tricks of the industry along the way.

At the end of the season, one girl will be selected to become “The Face” of a still-unnamed major national brand, winning a contract as the brand ambassador. The series will air on Oxygen next year.

Sources say that Campbell and co-hosts Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova are butting heads backstage during shooting.

According to another source, Campbell is the instigator of much of the tension. Based on past reports of her anger management issues -- for which she is famous -- this shouldn't be a surprise.

The second source said:
Naomi doesn’t have to have a reason not to like somebody. She just doesn’t like certain people.

There were some issues with Coco being on time and Naomi not being on time and Coco getting annoyed. Coco’s a Jehovah’s Witness and she believes in being correct and polite and being on time. She doesn’t drink. She’s super straight-laced. So it’s been a real mess between [Coco and Naomi] ...

Karolina knows how to deal with Naomi. She’s known her for a long time.
It's hard to imagine that anyone wasn't expecting this drama. In fact, they were probably banking on it.
