To be exact, Brooke Mueller's 19th time in rehab had a span of only six days. She was reported to have entered rehab last Tuesday. If it seems quick, it is.
This time, Mueller was in rehab for her addiction to Adderall. Mueller has a valid prescription for the drug, which is used to treat her ADHD, but when faced with a looming deadline for a jewelry order, she took way too much in an attempt to keep alert.
While she may have detoxed, eliminating the drug from her system -- which was her purpose for the stay -- a stay of only a few days does not cure the underlying addiction issues. Wikipedia says that "... medically assisted detoxification alone is ineffective as a treatment for addiction."
Mueller, 35, already has "ongoing psychological outpatient treatment" according to the report. She is also reportedly "feeling much better."
As a result of exiting rehab, Mueller has also regained custody of her twin boys, who had been being cared by her mother.
