Media Matters has unveiled its choice for 2009's Misinformer of the Year, and it's Fox News' Glenn Beck. Here's how the watchdog group described how easy their choice was:
When he wasn't calling the president a racist, portraying progressive leaders as vampires who can only be stopped by "driv[ing] a stake through the heart of the bloodsuckers," or pushing the legitimacy of seceding from the country, Beck obsessively compared Democrats in Washington to Nazis and fascists and "the early days of Adolf Hitler." He wondered, "Is this where we're headed," while showing images of Hitler, Stalin, and Lenin; decoded the secret language of Marxists; and compared the government to "heroin pushers" who were "using smiley-faced fascism to grow the nanny state."A couple of Glenn Beck's more ludicrous acts from 2009 include using Vicks to cry crocodile tears and saying Barack Obama has a "deep-seated" hatred of whites.

Of course Media Matters is not biased - right? I mean left? Of course they are. They are the propaganda wing of the DemoNatzi party as is the Main Stream Media. If Media Matters is a "watchdog" then Beck is Batman. This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
I believe Fox News' Sean Hannity won the dubious honors last year. I thought there would be no one who could compete with Hannity for "misinformer of the year" honors, however, Glenn Beck is a serious contender and he deserve the recognition without advocating for it.

why is it if a private citizen were to approach a voter on the city council and offer him money or an inducement to vote a certain way that would be illegal but we got majority leader reid offering blatant bribes to senator nelson for his vote and its acceptable.
