Palin: Some Bombers May Not Be Terrorists

It's interesting. Wouldn't you normally assume that someone who targets someone with a bomb would be called a terrorist? In fact, let's look at Merriam-Webster's definition of a terrorist, or rather, of terror, since their definition of terrorist sadly refers to terror:
Violent or destructive acts (as bombing) committed by groups in order to intimidate a population or government into granting their demands
Well, when someone bombs an abortion clinic, it's because they want to intimidate the staff and clients into granting their demands (no further abortions). Hence, terrorism.

Yet, although Palin and McCain feel it's fair to tie Barack Obama to someone (Bill Ayers) who was, in fact, a domestic terrorist when Obama was 8, she feels that bombing an abortion clinic, despite any death or "terror," would not be terrorism. Let's also not forget that 3,000 academics have recently signed a petition in support of Ayers.

What's really terrifying? The possibility of Palin as VP.
