Britney Spears may be in the final stages of her freefall. Last night after police were called to her home to settle a "custody dispute" over her children. Police determined the children were indeed supposed to be with her ex-, Kevin Federline, but also noticed that Britney appeared to be "under the influence."They wheeled Britney out on a stretcher and took her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (video below) where she is currently on "medical hold."
LAPD spokesman Jason Lee said:
"We do believe Britney Spears is under the influence and needs to be evaluated. She is being transported to hospital where she will be tested for both drink and drugs. At this stage we do not know what she may or may not have taken - that's while she needs to be evaluated. But obviously if the test does prove positive then we would be looking to move her to a police station and charge her."That said, it's also been reported that Britney's instability last night was just another example of psychological problems, not chemical-dependency issues - and that K-Fed's lawyer will be moving to get her stripped of her visitation rights this morning.
Based on the way things have gone for the Britney lately, this might be a good decision. Still, it's sad to see someone fall so far so fast. Hopefully, things will eventually work out for her. More to come, obviously.

Come on Britney cant you get it together already? For your kids? You have so much money why dont you build something with it? Do something that makes you happy charitably, go on vacation, tour the world for you, not for show. Her behaviour is PATHETIC
I wonder if drugs were legalized and she would have no kids would this even be an issue.
She desreves what ever she gets. If she really wanted to be a mother she would have gotten her act together. Its obviouse drugs and drinking is her life. She cetainly is no mother or she would have done everything she could have to get her children back. She is a waste to her children and herslf. I really hope she wakes up someday, but I think shes past that. Partying is her job now and theres enought out there to show you thats what her life is now. Imagine that you have looks, talent, money, and celebrity status. You are young and beautiful.

Did anyone notice that the article stated they it could be psychological issues and not drugs?? Hello, nervous breakdown. And all you people and other blogs say is that she is pathetic, some even said she should go kill herself. While I don't condone her behavior, if it turns out she's as mentally ill as she looks, well, I'm more sad for how people think they can just say horrible things about people when in fact they don't know the facts. Pathetic? perhaps. The publics' behavior? Absolutely pathetic.
She doesn't know how to be a mother, because she never had one. She has always been used, and abused, and now she is just doing it herself. You can not take a little kid and strip them of their childhood, for money, and expect them to turn out well.
I think it maybe finally hit her at the deposition, with the questions she had to answer,brought it to her attention that she is really as bad as people say. Then she had the final crash breakdown when she realized this is it...I really am a bad mother. Poor girl, poor babies. She seemed so well and happy when she was with Kevin...but everyone had to pound her that he was a loser so she had to get rid of him for her image. Now she's absolutely lost!
